IIT Dhanbad cutoff 2024 has been released for BTech, Integrated BTech and BArch courses in the form of opening and closing ranks. In Round 5, the closing ranks varied between 3846 and 16011 wherein B.Tech. in CSE is highly competitive among General category students under the AI Quota.

While comparing the IIT Dhanbad CSE cutoff 2024 with the last two years, we can see that B.Tech. in CSE has shown a declining trend in its Round 5 closing ranks. The Round 5 cutoff for the same course was 3008 in 2023 and 2888 in 2022 for the General category students for the AI Quota.

IIT Dhanbad B.Tech admission is based on JEE Advanced Cutoff ranks. The IIT Dhanbad JEE Advanced Cutoff 2024 was out for Round 5, for admission to various B.Tech courses. The toughest course to get into the college for the General AI category candidates was Computer Science and Engineering, with the closing Cutoff rank of 3846. The easiest course for the General AI category was B.Tech. in Mining Machinery Engineering, with the closing cutoff rank of 15321

For 2023, cut off was 3258 for General category candidates in All India quota for BTech in Computer Science and Engineering in IIT Dhanbad (ISM). For female candidates in general category under All India quota, 5862 was the closing rank. BTech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

The opening and closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For General category under All India, the opening rank was 11895 and closing rank was 14058. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 3072 and 19471. Admission to BTech in Civil Engineering in IIT Dhanbad (ISM) is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE Advanced. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

According to the last three years' JEE Advanced cut-off, IIT (ISM) Dhanbad cutoff 2023 for BTech in Computer Science and Engineering closed at 3258 while in 2022 it closed at 3,009 and in 2021 at 2,968. For Integrated M.Tech in Mathematics and Computing, IIT (ISM) Dhanbad cutoff 2023 closed at 4,710 while in 2022 it closed at 4,750 and in 2021 at 4,521. After analysing the past year's trends, the above-mentioned courses are the most popular courses at IIT (ISM) Dhanbad because of the competitive ranks over the years as related to other specialisations.

IIT Dhanbad CAT cutoff 2025 is released for admission to the MBA course for various All India categories. The actual cutoff is only visible to the candidates with login access. 

But, based on the closest estimated CAT cutoff percentile for the General AI category, a percentile of at least 80 is needed for admission. Candidates with this percentile are eligible to move to the second part of the admission process, which involves GD (Group Discussion) and PI (Personal Interview).

The cutoff trend for BTech at IIT Dhanbad (ISM) - Indian Institute of Technology (ISM) has been increasing in the recent years. In 2022, the closing rank for B.Tech. under general category for all India quota was 3009. In 2023, it increased to 3258. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 1056 to 1190 for OBC, 613 to 712 for SC, 259 to 243 for ST, 426 to 466 for EWS, 87 to 109 for PWD. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for engineering education in India continues to grow. Similar cut off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories however the ranks are slightly different.
