No, students can not get direct admisison at IIT Jodhpur. The institute accepts BTech admission based on JEE Main or JEE Advanced. The JEE Advanced scores to accept their BTech programme, and then the JoSAA counselling. Students need to write the JEE Main exam and obtain the minimum percentage in order to pass the JEE Advanced exam.

 IIT Jodhpur is a fully residential campus. It offers single occupancy air-conditioned and semi-furnished rooms. The institute has hostel building has a TV room, reading room, etc. It has indoor games like carom, table tennis, chess and badminton.

IIT Jodhpur admission is based on merit and entrance exams. The institute accepts national entrance exams like JEE Main, JEE Advanced, GATE, CAT, and IIT JAM are the IIT Jodhpur entrance exams. The JEE Advanced scores to accept their BTech programme, and then the JoSAA counselling. Students need to write the JEE Main exam and obtain the minimum percentage in order to pass the JEE Advanced exam.

No, there is no ragging culture at IIT Jodhpur has an anti-ragging cell. The Institute takes action against the students involved in ragging.
