IIT Jodhpur eligibility has to be met for students to get admission in the institute. The selection process is entrance-based. The common eligibility is as below:
- IIT Jodhpur UG eligibility - Class 12 with PCM subjects + minimum of 75% aggregate

IIT Jodhpur offers a 2 year MSc course in 5 specialisations, including Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Digital Humanities, and Computational Social Science. Admission to IIT Jodhpur MSc course is through the all-India level Joint Admission Test for Master's (JAM) conducted by IITs. Yes, it more than sufficient, you can opt most of the courses with 400 rank at IIT Jodhpur. The IIT Jodhpur JAM cut off 2025 for the General AI category candidates stood between 396 and 789, wherein, the most competitive course is M.Sc. + M.Tech. in Mathematics Data and Computational Sciences. Eligibility Criteria for IIT Jodhpur BSc Course involves:
- You must have completed your Class 12th or equivalent examination.
- Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in Class 12th.
- The minimum aggregate marks required do vary. However it typically ranges between 60-70%.
- You need to have appeared for the Joint Entrance Examination and secure a qualifying score.

A BS student at IIT Jodhpur who have opted for specific specialisation with CGPA of six or more at the end of the seventh semester and who fulfil the minimum credit requirements established by the institute are allowed to switch to the BS plus M.Tech dual degree programme in the chosen specialisation at the beginning of the eighth semester.

To be eligible to apply for MBA admission at IIT Jodhpur, candidates must pass Class 12 and graduation in the respective subjects. Candidates who secured minimum 60% aggregate or 6.00 CGPA in their graduation are eligible to apply for MBA. However, there is a five percent relaxation is given to SC/ST/PwD candidates. They must obtain a minimum of 55% aggregate or 5.00 CGPA in the same subjects. Other than this, final year students of graduation may also apply for the course.

Candidates with a proven academic record based on a cut-off of the GATE, CSIR or UGC scorecard or equivalent are eligible to apply for PhD at IIT Jodhpur. The institute shortlist students based on their score in the entrance examination. Shortlisted students need to appear for the personal interview round.
