The National Talent Search Examination  (NTSE) is a scholarship exam conducted by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) to identify talented students who want to pursue higher education in the Science and Social Studies streams.

IIT Patna accepts multiple state/national entrance exams other than JEE advance for admission to BSc courses. NEET, CUET, BITSAT, etc.,  are other exams accepted by the institute. Step 1: Open the NTA official website. 

Step 2: Click on the “JEE Main 2024 Registration” link. 

Step 3: Fill in the required details and click on the “Submit” button to complete the registration. After the completion of JEE Main registration process, candidates will receive an email and message in their registered email ID and mobile phone number with details of the application form number and password. Candidates will need to keep safe/save the details of registration.

Step 4: After completion of registration, candidates will be redirected to the page for filling out the detailed application form. 

Step 5: Upload scanned images of passport-size photographs and signature along with other required documents.

Step 6: Payment of the application fee.

Step 7: The application form will be automatically submitted after the payment of application fees. 

IIT Patna charges one time fees of  Rs 20000 which includes caution money of Rs 15000 to institution and Rs 5000 to hostel. Caution money will get refunded at the end of your degree to your respective bank account.

Complete fees for B.Tech is about 12 Lakhs and for M.Tech and M.Sc is about 2.5 Lacs in IIT Patna. Scholarships are also available at IIT Patna  on the basic of family annual income.

3. Remission of 2/3rd of the Tuition Fee for General and OBC students whose family income is between Rs.1 Lacs to Rs.5 Lacs per annum.
