No, candidates cannot get admission in IIT Patna BTech without JEE scores. The seats are allotted to aspirants in preferred BTech branch based on their JEE Advanced scores via JoSAA Counselling.

IIT Patna offers a four-year full-time BTech course. The institute offers BTech is 11 specialisations. Some of them include, Computer Science & Engineering, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, Chemical Engineering, etc.

There are 86 seats available in Computer Science and Engineering specialisation of BTech at IIT Patna. The seats in CSE are allotted via JoSAA Counselling based on JEE Advanced scores. As per the IIT Patna cutoff data, CSE is the most competitive specialisation with competitive closing rank and limited seats.

IIT Patna reserves seats in VTechadmissions for SC, ST, OBC, EWS and PwD categories as per the Government of India rules. OBC-NCL candidates need to produce the latest certificate and self-declaration statement to claim reservation.

Yes, IIT Patna offers scholarships to students belonging to SC/ ST category and pursuing BTech course. New entrants must not get 'F' grade in any of the courses in first semester. The annual income of student's parents/ guardian and his family from all the sources in preceeding financial year must not be more than INR 4.50 lakh. Selected SC and ST students get free messing, exemption from hostel room rent and pocket allowance of INR 250 per month.

Aspirants have to apply for GATE and on the institute's website for M.Tech at IIT Patna. The application fees for M.Tech is INR 1,000 and INR 500 for female (INR 500 for SC/ ST/ PwD category). For sponsored, self-financed and part-time category, application fees is INR 1,000.

Candidates must pass master's degree in relevant stream wit at least 6.5 CGPA or 60% aggregate to apply for PhD programme at IIT Patna. The upper age limit is 28 years to apply for PhD. There is relaxation up to 5 years for candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, Women and PwD category.
