The official data for IIT Roorkee placements 2024 has not been released. However, as per the data fetched from media reports, the average package offered to IIT Roorkee MBA batch 2024 was INR 20 LPA. On the other hand, IIM Amritsar average package for the top 25% offers of MBA batch 2022-24 stood at INR 19.73 LPA. The table below compares IIM Amritsar and IIT Roorkee for MBA placements 2024:

To be eligible for MBA programme offered at IIT Roorkee, candidates need to possess a graduation degree/ professional qualification in any stream from a UGC-recognised university with a minimum of 60% aggregate (55% for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates). Final year students are also eligible to apply. The course is offered by the B-school under IIT Roorkee, namely DOMS IIT Roorkee.

Yes, at the research level, IIT Roorkee offers a PhD programme in both full-time and part-time modes across the streams of Science, Engineering & Technology, Management Studies, and Architecture & Planning. As per the details collated from various sources on the internet, PhD admission to IIT Roorkee is subject to a valid score in one among UGC NET/  CSIR NET/ JRF, institute-level written test followed by a Personal Interview round
