The Karnataka PGCET cutoff for the MBA programme at IIMS Bangalore in 2024 for the General AI category was a closing rank of 33998. This rank has fluctuated in previous years, with a cutoff of 43490 in 2023 and 22367 in 2022.

Securing admission requires a decent rank in the PGCET exam, along with meeting eligibility criteria (bachelor's degree with 50% marks). Final selection also considers performance in GD and PI rounds, and academic background. Aiming for a rank in the 30,000s might be a general target based on recent data, but checking the official IIMS website for the latest cutoff details is crucial.

Admission to IIMS MBA/PGDM is moderately challenging. You need a bachelor's degree with 50% marks and a competitive score in exams like CAT, MAT, CMAT, XAT, ATMA, or Karnataka PGCET (2024 PGCET cutoff rank was around 34000). Shortlisted candidates undergo GD and PI rounds. Final selection considers entrance exam scores, GD/PI performance, and academic record. Some merit-based admission might also be possible. Aim for a good score in the entrance exam and prepare well for GD/PI. Check the official IIMS website for the latest criteria and cutoffs.

It depends on the course in which the student is interested. Impact Institute of Management Studies offers MBA, BBA, BCA, and BCom courses. Admission to the MBA courses at the college is done based on the scores obtained in the Karnataka PGCET exam. Applications for the Karnatka PGCET exam generally open in the month of April and are currently closed. Admission to other courses is not based on the scores obtained in any exam, and is currently open.

Student evaluations at Impact Institute of Management Studies (IIMS) show that the hostel dining service receives a negative reception from learners. Students tend to dislike the poor food quality of both the mess and canteen services at IIMS. The substandard food quality joins other poor facilities as a continuous complaint reported by students. Reviewing the hostile food quality plays an essential role for future students because they should examine both these comments alongside current student updates when choosing IIMS housing options.
