Yes, Imperial College of Engineering and Research is a private college. The college is approved by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) and affiliated with the Savitribai Phule Pune University. ICOER Pune was established in 2006-07. Imperial College Pune is accredited with an A Grade by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council). Being a private college, there are multiple facilities available for students.

Imperial College London, reserves housing facilities for its Masters students, at the Silwood Park campus based outside of London, near Ascot, Berkshire.

The facility includes space for around 100 beds, with rooms available in flat, studio, single & double bed formats.
