Making sense of the various subjects is the first shock a student encounters when they start the course.  At IMT Hyderabad, they make a deliberate effort to walk students through a planned introductory module on these courses in the form of a management orientation program, which aims to unite students from various backgrounds and introduce them to the fundamentals of such subjects over the course of a week-longprogrammewith meticulously planned sessions. IMT Hyderabad doesn't actually have any control over your clothing choices. However, IMT H, a top business school, requires that its students dress accordingly. The students are occasionally expected to dress appropriately for business formal occasions. These occasions include placements, club and committee activities, practitioner sessions, leadership talks, classroom presentations, etc. Additionally, students are not allowed to enter the academic building while wearing shorts or slippers. Other than that, you are free to dress whichever you like and feel most comfortable.

IMT Hyderabad accepts the scores from the CAT, XAT, CMAT, and GMAT for a number of B-School entry exams. The cutoff shifts yearly. For the year 2022, the overall cutoff for the CAT is 90 percentile, while the CMAT is 80 percentile. The general category has these cutoffs. Candidates must have earned a degree in any field with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 50%. Candidates with undergraduate degrees who are in their final year of study may also apply. Candidates are ultimately chosen based on their performance in a personal interview and their admission exam results.

Both are college of same caliber. Fees is same for the colleges but IFMR is older than IMT. It is just the difference in location. Overall IMT Hyderabad can be preferred.
Placement wise IMT Hyderabad has shown better results in past few year but you can also opt for IFMR as both are equally good with almost same brand value. Also you can give preference to nearer one.
