Hi,
There are no separate entrance examinations for admission into Anna University and its affiliated colleges. Only your 12th board exam marks, especially your aggregate in PCM is only considered for admission.

In this link, you need to use an advanced search means you need to select the name of the college, district and caste for knowing the cut off.

For admission into Madras Institute of Technology (MIT), you need to apply for counselling under Anna University. If your cut off marks (aggregate in PCM out of 200) are above 195 or 196 then you can get a seat. As another state student you need to have really a good score.

Check out on the law colleges, under the state universities, the admission is basically done on the basis of your marks, in most cases.
