The following documents have to be furnished in original at the time of admission for the BSc course at Indian Academy Degree College:
- Mark sheet of Class 10 & 12 or equivalent.
- Transfer Certificate from the head of the school/college in which last studied.
- Migration certificate for undergraduate candidates from states other than Karnataka.
- Aadhar (UIDAI) card for Indian nationals Citizenship card for Nepal and Bhutan.
- Certificates in proof of the applicability of quota such as NCC, Sports, Income, Caste, Disabilities, etc.

The college offers eight specialsiations in BSc courses in the fields of life science, physical science, and data science. The eligibility criteria to get admissions into BSc courses at Indian Academy Degree College differ according to the selected specialsiations. For example, in some of the BSc courses, students are required to study Biology and Chemistry as compulsory subjects in Class 12.
