Dear Omityah, I have no idea about the UGC recognition of the Indian Institute of Counselling but being alumni of Lovely Professional University I can say that LPU is UGC recognised. In India, LPU is recognised by the University Grant Commission (UGC), the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), and the Council of Architecture (COA) and approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). It is also a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
