IIIT Ranchi's admission process is a multi-step process that involves application, appearing for entrance exam, participating in the counselling process, getting shortlisted, and final admission confirmation. Interested candidates can refer to the following steps to complete the process:

Step 1: Candidates must appear for the JEE Main exam and GATE to secure a valid score. JEE Main exams are conducted in two phases starting from January to March. GATE conducts the exam in January.

Step 2: Candidates with a valid JEE Main score are eligible to apply through JoSAA. Candidates must visit the official website of JoSAA and register themselves. They must select IIIT Ranchi as their preferred institute.

Step 3: JoSAA will allocate seats online according to the valid score obtained by the candidates in JEE Main.

Step 4: Once the seats are confirmed at IIIT Ranchi, the candidate must visit the nearest Reporting Centre within the deadline. In case the seat is not confirmed, wait for further seat allotment rounds (if any). After this, report to IIIT Ranchi for seat confirmation and admission. The verification of the documents would be done at the time of counselling/admission, where candidates must pay the tuition fee to confirm IIIT Ranchi admission.
