A Bio student is not eligible to pursue a BTech in computer science following their 12th studies in India as of 2024, according to a UGC and AICTE. Mathematics, physics, and chemistry are required courses for all applicants to BTech engineering institutes.

For getting admission in the BTech course at Indus University, the candidates need to register themselves with the ACPC by applying and filling up the online application with the requied details. After paying the application fee, the form should be submitted. The students are selected on the basis of merit for the 50% seat reserved. The other 50% seats are available for direct admission purpose.

The Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) is a body that handles the admission process of BTech of the Indus University. It has set guidelines for the purpose of admission to both management quota and the normal seat.
