Indus University offers admission based on entrance exam scores or merit. The university conducts Indus-MAT, Indus-DAT and IURAT for admission to specific courses. Indus University also accepts scores in national-level entrance exams, such as CAT, NATA, MAT, JEE Main, etc. 

Aspirants must pass Class 12 with relevant subjects with at least 45%-50% aggregate to apply for UG courses at Indus University. The minimum qualification for PG programmes is graduation. The selection is both merit and entrance-based at Indus University.

A Bio student is not eligible to pursue a BTech in computer science following their 12th studies in India as of 2024, according to a UGC and AICTE. Mathematics, physics, and chemistry are required courses for all applicants to BTech engineering institutes.
