Wipro Technologies (Wipro Turbo) made job offers to 278 students with a CTC (cost to company) of 6.50 Lacs per annum from the 2020 graduating batch of Vellore Institute of Technology during the campus recruitment drive held at the VIT campus. This is the highest number of dream offers given by the company to the students from a single institution, and has found a place in the Limca Book of Records in its 2020 edition (9th Time). This surpasses the earlier record of 238 dream offers made by the same company to the 2019 graduating batch of VIT. This is also the 8th time that the VIT is entering the Limca Book of Records for campus placements. Earlier, VIT has entered into the Limca Book of records in 2009, 2011, 2014, 2015 (two records), in 2016 for the highest number of IT services placements, in 2017 and 2018 for the highest number of dream offers.

Vellore Institute of Technology has maintained an excellent placement record by providing its students with ample opportunities to blossom their career goals. The university has been ranked at the 28th, 55th, and 15th positions by the NIRF under the Overall, Management, and Engineering categories respectively. The placement season for the 2022 batch started on July 15. The institutes, 81 students from all four campuses of VIT Vellore, Chennai, Amarvati and Bhopal received the pay packages of above INR 25 LPA in its initial phase of placement season and the highest CTC stood at INR 75 LPA. The PG internship placements at VIT started in March 2021, which is going on simultaneously and has seen participation of 118 companies which has already selected 912 students from the 2022 graduation batch. Some of the top recruiters that participated were Intel, Qualcomm, NetApp, Nokia, Philips, Titan, PayPal, VMware, Media Tek, Danfoss and many others.

LPU is popular for its excellence in teaching and the infrastructure facilities the university possesses. I did post graduation from this University and I have few friends who has done BCA and currently they are working with MNCs with decent package. BCA Student Placed In Amazon At 3.65 LPA. Cognizant, which is a globally recognised brand for providing IT Services recruited 13 of our MCA students at a package of 3.3 LPA. Admit Chauhan, Baljeet Singh, Rahul Gupta, and Jeba Parveen have been placed in KPIT at a package of 3.25 LPA. Tech Mahindra is one the of leading MNCs that originated in India. Tech Mahindra selected 2 LPU Students at a package of 3.25 LPA. VenturePact recruited 3 MCA students, Biplab, Ajit Jain and Gaurav at a package of 4.25 LPA.
