To grant admission to candidates for hotel management programmes, the International Institute of Hotel Management (IIHM) administers the Electronic Common Hotel Admission Test (eCHAT). The Combined Hospitality Aptitude Test (also known as the IIHM eCHAT entrance exam) is a nationwide exam. The IIHM eCHAT 2026 exam is being held multiple times this year. The course fee for a BA at IAM Kolkata is INR 4.5 lakh. Students can either pay their fees by semester or by one go. IAM Kolkatai offers two specialisations in BA courses i.e., BA in Hospitality Management and BA in Tourism Studies. The selection process for this course is based on the Electronic Common Hospitality Admission Test (IIHM eCHAT) and Online Admission test (Common Hospitality Aptitude Test), followed by the GD and PI.

Yes, IAM Kolkata does offer BA courses for a three-year undergraduate degree. The institute provides two specialisations in BA courses i.e., BA in Tourism Studies and BA in Hospitality Management. The admission process for both the courses is similar in that candidates are required to complete the basic eligibility criteria i.e., candidates must qualify their Class 12 with English as one of the main subjects and after qualifying for the basic eligibility criteria, students are required to appear in the entrance exam followed by Group discussion and personal interview.

As of now, there is no entrance exam required for admission to the UG Diploma programme at IAM Kolkata. So that the candidates need not worry about any cut off information.
