What is the procedure and cut-off required to get into IET for M.Tech in CS? Also, is last year's GATE score acceptable?

Hi,
M.Tech in CS course is not available at IET-Lucknow. Hence, you have to exercise for other colleges. Further most of the colleges are accepting GATE score for their MTech programs. The validity of GATE score is remains for three years from the date of declaration of GATE result. The minimum qualifying cut off is 25 and its varies from college to college.

Which college should I choose among UPES and IET, Lucknow after the declaration of UPTU result?

IET Lucknow is much better college than upes Dehradun. Here, you will find best infrastructure, placements as well as academics. IET Lucknow comes under top 100 reputed government colleges if India.

Is it better to go for Jabalpur Engineering College? If I am getting UPTU government colleges other than IET and HBTI.

If you are getting IET or KNIT, then don't go for Jabalpur, if you can't get any of them, then you can think for Jabalpur Engineering College.

Getting IET at this rank is not possible as your rank is too high. For that, I'll prefer you to opt any other govt college or if you want IET only then you can wait till the spot round of the counselling.

I got 324 rank in UPSEE MBA in first counselling. I got BIET-Jhansi. If I go for next rounds of counselling, can I get IET, Lucknow?

Yes, you can get BIET-Jhansi, but in the second round of the counselling. And, if you want, you can get IET-Lucknow also, but that would get in the spot round of the counselling.

What is the highest and average placement salary for ME students at IET-Lucknow?

Its average package is around 3.5-4 lacs per year but the highest package this year was 13 lacs. Some students have applied off-campus too and they take taken up the package of around 8-9 lacs per year.

IET, Lucknow is far better than the UPES Dehradun as UPES is a private college and IET, Lucknow is a government college. UPES stands nowhere in the national ranking but IET does.
