Institute of Hotel Management, Catering & Nutrition Admission Process

IHM Shimla offers seats in BSc programme based on NCHMCT JEE score. National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology Joint Entrance Exam (NCHMCT JEE) is a national-level hospitality entrance exam for admission to BSc (Hospitality & Hotel Administration). Selected candidates are required to register for NCHMCT JEE Counselling for BSc. Candidates are also required to bring the specified documents for verification. 

IHM Shimla specifies the minimum requirement to apply for BSc programme. Candidates who have passed Class 12 or equivalent with English as one of the subjects can apply for BSc Hospitality and Hotel Administration. The upper age limit is 22 years for General and OBC Categories whereas, the upper age limit is 25 years for SC/ ST candidates.

Aspirants wishing to apply for Diploma or certificate courses need to download the application form from the official website of the institute. They need to pay an application fee of INR 300 (INR 150 for SC/ ST). Below are the steps to apply for IHM Shimla admission to Diploma courses:
