There are a total of 231 seats for the BSc HHA progrmme offered by IHM Guwahati. The applicants are admitted to the course as per the sanctioned seat intake only. For the seat allotmet, applicants NCHMCT JEE scores are considered and hence, students who meet the cutoff marks are offered a seat. The institute/regulating body reserves the right to revise the seat count in any academic year. Students are also informed that the aforementioned seat count is as per the official website/sanctioning body. It is still subject to changes and hence, is indicative.

IHM Guwahati NCHM JEE closing rank varies every year as it depends upon different factors, such as number of applicants, seat intake, the highest exam score, etc. In 2024, the closing rank for the BSc HHA course was 1324. This was the most competitive in the last three years'. In 2023 and 2022, the closing ranks were 8780 and 10314, respectively. Upon close inspection, I found that both of these colleges have excellent infrastructure, campus, facilities and both these college have a 90% (or higher) of placements in reputable companies. If you need a more specific comparison, take into consideration the distance you have to travel, the fee structure, and maybe the presence of language barriers etc. to choose the better option. The placement percentage and average salary range is close for both but the fees range is usually higher for SRCEM due to it being private institute.
