The admission process for LL.M. in Criminal and Security Law, a one-year postgraduate programme at the Institute of Law, Nirma University is based on PG CLAT merit rank. The institute can conduct its own examination for filling the NRI/NRI Sponsored seats which is 15% of the total seats. The eligibility is that a student must have passed a three-year LLB law degree programme after the completion of Graduation or must have passed a five-year Integrated Law Degree Programme with an aggregate of 50% marks minimum from a Bar Council of India recognised and approved college.

LLM (Criminal and Security Law)
LLM (Constitutional and Administrative Law).
The admission process for this stream is based on the CLAT PG merit rank availed.

No, the Institute of Law, Nirma University doesn't offer Executive Diploma Programme in Cyber Laws and Forensics program. The Institute of Law, Nirma University offers Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) and Master of Laws (LL.M.) undergraduate and postgraduate programs respectively.

The overall fees for One Year LL.M. in Criminal and Security Law at Institute of Law, Nirma University is OneLacs Fifty Two Thousand and Five Hundred Rupees ( 1,52,500 Rs.) It is similar to the fees for LL.M. in Constitutional and Administrative Law. The breakup of fees is as follows:
Tution Fees - 1,30,000 Rs.
One-time fees for activities - 7,000 Rs.
Trisemester End Examination/ Initial Registration/ Semester Grade Report - 5,500 Rs.

Yes, the Institute of Law, Nirma University offer a one year postgraduate programme for law degree in this stream. There are two streams offered by Institute of Law, Nirma University: LL.M. in (Criminal and Security Law) and LL.M. in (Constitutional and Administrative Law). Admission Process in these streams is based on merit rank obtained in CLAT PG level examination. For 2024-25, the fee structure of the five-year integrated law degree programme of BA LLB and BCom LLB is INR 3.4 lakh for the first year and for the remaining four years, it's INR 3.2 lakh per year.
- Tuition Fees: INR 2,95,200 yearly
- Semester End Examination/ Initial Registration/ Grade Report Fees: INR 7,000 yearly
So, the total yearly fee is INR 3,02,200. But for the first year, the total One-time fees for different kinds of activities is INR 38,000. The total Refundable amount after passing the final year is INR 7,000. For five years, the overall payment to the college is INR 15,49,000.

Yes, Institute of Law, Nirma University offers the stream of B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) integrated law degree programme. The duration will be 5 years which include ten semesters as well as ten summer/winter internships of four weeks each. Currently, seats available for the stream of B.A. LL.B. is one hundred and eighty seats (180 seats) and one hundred twenty seats (120 seats) for B.Com. LL.B. stream. The eligibility criteria to apply for the undergraduate law degree programme is quite low, just 45% aggregate marks in the Higher Secondary or Intermediate Examinations (10+2). But to avail this B.A.LL.B. stream, the CLAT merit rank must be <2000 moreover, the university don't offer Reservation Quota admissions. The subjects will be aligned to B.A. Stream till the completion of Third Year and in the last Two Years you can chose the subjects you want to study.

Through my personal experiences, one thing is assured and that thing is, you will never regret getting admitted to the Institute of Law, Nirma University, and residing in Ahmedabad for five years. It's because of some unique features that make it preferable over many low-tier NLUs. Firstly, the culture on campus is highly professional and it helps in easily relating to work-life balances similar to corporate law firms. It is friendly and comfortable too i.e. Seniors, Professors, and Staff are very helpful and caring. At Institute of Law, Nirma University, CGPA is calculated on the basis of overall letter grades and grade points. Grade points are given only if the minimum overall grade secured is C+ or above. Overall grade points includes Marks of SEE/SPE, CEE and PWE (as applicable) examinations. Conversion of % marks to grades is as per this system:

The biggest ever cultural event of Nirma University is hosted by the Institute Of Law from 20 April - 23 April, 2023. It was successfully conducted by the National Fest Committee, NFC (Connaissance). Numerous events were organized and conducted in this 4-day event and they are as follows:
