Rankings of BP Poddar Institute of Management and Technology in the field of engineering is decent. B.Tech programme was ranked 87 th in India by IIRF in 2022. Although much information about ranking is not available more than this, but seeing the ranking, it can be said that this Institute is a very much decent Institute for B.Tech. This Institute cannot be said as the top Institute for B.Tech, but is better than many other institutes of the area. So if are planning to pursue B.Tech from this Institute, you are adviced to visit the campus, do more detailed research and then take final admission decision.

- B.Tech:- The total tution fees for this 4 year UG course ranges from INR 2.6 lacs to INR 4.8 lacs for 8 different specializations.
- BCA:- The total tution fees for this 3 year UG course is INR 2.7 lacs.
- MCA:- The total tution fees for this 2 year PG course is INR 2 lacs.
- BBA:- The total tution fees for this 3 year UG course is INR 2.7 lacs.

B. P. Poddar Institute of Management and Technology, commonly called BPPIMT is popular for its B.Tech courses especially in CSE and ECE. The popular courses are the curriculum and records of placements. Students who pass out are placed even in the top companies - Infosys, IBM, Accenture, etc. apart from engineering courses, BPPIMT also offers management programs like BBA and BCA. Total Placement rate: A total of around 80-90% of students gets placed every year.
B.Tech programs:
Best package: Rs.13 LPA
Average Package: Rs.6 LPA

Qualifying criteria for admission into M.Tech at B. P. Poddar Institute of Management and Technology, BPPIMT
Educational Qualification- The candidate should hold Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology or Master's in any relevant discipline from a recognised institution.
Minimum Marks 50% marks or equivalent grade in the qualifying degree.
Admission will be made purely on merit basis drawn from the scores obtained from MAKAUT CET conducted by Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology.
Counseling and Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates have to face counseling and subsequent document verification processes.
