The popular courses are the curriculum and records of placements. The last date for admission to B. P. Poddar Institute of Management and Technology is October 31, 2024. The Institute delivers B.Tech, BBA, and BCA programs with entrance examination as well as WBJEE and JEE Main entrance examination for admission. B. P. Poddar Institute of Management and Technology, simply BPPIMT is quite middle of the road compared to other private institutes in Kolkata. Different tuition fees are set according to various programs as given below:
B.Tech: INR 2.6 L to 3.9 L for the whole course.
BBA: For the period, Rs 3.9 Lacs for the whole.
BCA: Nearly INR 2.7 L.
Although it is much costlier than some of the public institutions, BPPIMT is more than fairly competitive in the private sector because of the opportunities made available by way of placements and the infrastructure present in the institute. To be eligible for a four-year B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering at BP Poddar Institute of Management and Technology, the candidate must have passed class 12th with a minimum of 45% in a relevant stream from any recognised board. Educational Qualification- The candidate should hold Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology or Master's in any relevant discipline from a recognised institution.
Minimum Marks 50% marks or equivalent grade in the qualifying degree.
Admission will be made purely on merit basis drawn from the scores obtained from MAKAUT CET conducted by Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology.

B. P. Poddar Institute of Management and Technology, Kolkata has good reputation, but ranking of top engineering colleges is not provided. Top three well-rated institutions in Kolkata for career in engineering are Jadavpur University, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology and Heritage Institute of Technology.
