To be eligible for admission to the Institute of Management Studies (IMS), candidates must have a Master’s degree in Business Management (M.B.M.), Management Studies/Management Sciences (M.M.S.), Business Administration (M.B.A.), International Business Administration (M.I.B.A.), International Business (M.I.B.), or M.B.A. (Agri-Business). Alternatively, candidates with a two-year Post Graduate Program (PGP)/Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) that is declared equivalent to a Master’s Degree in Management by AIU (Association of Indian Universities) and accredited by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education)/UGC

At the PG level, the Institute of Management Studies BHU offers a two-year full-time BHU MBA and MBA-IB, and one-year part-time PGDBA, PGDCHM, DME, and DLHM courses to the students.
