Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research Eligibility

These are the Eligibility Criteria for Admission to MBBS in Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research (IPGMER):

Educational Qualification:

Passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination with compulsory subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English.
Minimum percentage requirement: 50% for General, 40% for SC/ST/OBC, and 45% for PwD in PCB overall.
Age Limit:

Should have completed a minimum of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission.
Upper age limit: 25 years (30 years for reserved categories).
Entrance Test:

Must qualify NEET-UG with a valid score.
Admission is based on individual NEET rank and through counseling at the state or national level.
Domicile Requirements:

Candidates, for state quota seats, must fulfil the West Bengal domicile criteria.
