JIMS has may approvals and accreditation like it is NBA accredited, NAAC A grade, and it also had SAQs ( which is provided for the quality of education ) accreditation. PGDM that JIMS provide come under AICTE. So if we talk about ranking JIMS is ranked above VIPS. Rather than the industry oriented curriculum JIMS also offers you other exposure to enhance your skills like certifications, personality development classes, personal grooming session, mentor- mentee programme and many more. JIMS provide you 100% placement assistance and many good reputation and top companies regularly come for internships and placement interviews like deloitte, KPMG, Amazon, E&Y, Reckitt benchkiser, etc. It has a good infrastructure and good, experienced faculty members too. Institute of Professional Studies, Meerut offers 3 years programme, with distance/correspondence. Students must have cleared 10+2 (any stream) with 50% marks aggregate with English as a subject. Whereas Technia Institute of Advanced Studies too offers 3-year B.J. M. C. programme with same eligibility criteria. No doubt it is affiliated to the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University but it does not provide the facilities to the students. As per my knowledge both the colleges are not good for pursuing the course of journalism and mass communication because the help and facilities that should be provided are not the up to the mark. Moreover, there are no proper labs and instructions, no good environment as well as teaching standards are also not good. Moreover, students are prepared according to the professional course.
