SRM IST MBA is one of the popular courses, offered in PG level, for the duration of 2 years. The Institute offers MBA based on minimum aggregate of 50% in graduation and valid scores of accepted entrance exams such as MAT, CAT, NMAT, CMAT and equivalent others. As per the last placement record, SRM IST recorded an average package of INR 4.5 LPA to INR 5.1 LPA. SRM IST MBA Ranks 4 as per the Times 2023 rankings, proving for it to be worth pursuing MBA from. 

SRM IST offers BTech as a 4 year UG level programme. The Institute offers BTech in various specialisations such as Civil Engineering, CSE, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering etc. SRM University BTech admission is subject to a valid score obtained by the students in Class 12 and SRMJEEE (conducted by the deemed-to-be university). SRM IST Kattankulathur MBA programme is offered for the duration of 2 years in PG level, based on entrance. The Institute offers MBA based on the 50% to 60% of minimum aggregate secured by the candidates. Along with securing valid scores in entrance exams such as CAT, MAT, NMAT, TANCET, CMAT, SRMJEEM etc. The fee structure of the same includes a total tuition fees of INR 1.9 Lacs to INR 11.5 Lakh.

SRM Institute of Science and Technology admission is entrance-based for most of the courses. The Institute accepts national-level entrance exams like CAT, MAT, XAT, TANCET, NATA, SRMJEEE, SRMJEEM etc. for admission to MBA, BArch, BTech, M.Tech and other courses. The 60 MBA seats are offered by De Paul Institute of Science and Technology. The Mahatma Gandhi University affiliates the programme that was designed to provide holistic management education. Entrance exams such as CMAT or KMAT serve as a strict admission criteria while considering a bachelor's degree in any discipline which aggregates an above 55%. This course is based on learning through case studies and exposure to industries, and students would be prepared to take all sorts of roles in the business sector. De Paul Institute of Science and Technology (DiST) is not 100% sure shot for placement, but it has an excellent record. 70-80 percent of students are placed in some of the reputed companies. The top recruiters are Wipro, TCS, Infosys, and Cognizant. The average package ranges from INR 3 to 10 Lacs per annum, though some of the students can manage more. The placement cell actively arranges trainings, mock interviews, and industry interactions so that students are better employed. As a whole, placements at DiST are good, though not guaranteed to each one of the students.
