According to the latest information, the KCET Last Round Closing Rank (General-All India) ranged from 91188 to 214876 for all the specializations of B.Tech. The cut off may vary for different specializations of B.Tech according to their demand. As per the general category cut off, the highest cut off was for B.Tech in computer Science and engineering. The most desired course for OBC category was also CS only with closing rank of 91188. If you want to get detailed information about the category wise and specialisation wise cut off, you are adviced to visit the official website of this Institute.

No, you cannot take direct admission for any course at Hirasugar Institute of Technology. The admissions at this Institute are entrance based, you have to clear certain exams to secure your seat. The Institute offered two courses, B.Tech and MTech, the following are the entrance exams accepted:-

  1. B.Tech:- COMEDK UGET, KCET
  2. M.Tech:- GATE, Karnataka PGCET. 

These are the only way of getting admission, cut off will be released according to seats intake and score of students. If you planning to pursue any course at this Institute, you are suggested to start preparing for entrance exams.

Registration is done with Karnataka CET or COMEDK, in which students must appear for the entrance examinations. After getting the results, they apply for counseling through the respective exam authorities and are then given a chance to select their preferred institution as PDIT at the time of counseling itself. One has to apply directly to the college for management quota seats. The forms are also available on the official website of PDIT. All the process makes for the submission of various documents consisting of academic records and entrance examination scores during the process.

Selection into Proudhadevaraya Institute of Technology is mainly on the basis of Karnataka CET/COMEDK entrance examination whereas the candidate needs to fulfill the eligibility criteria, which includes having passed 10+2 with physics, chemistry, and mathematics from a recognised university/boards. Scholarships are provided to meritorious and financially needy students at Proudhadevaraya Institute of Technology. The basis of scholarship disbursement remains academic performances, entrance exam scores, and economic background.
