SSIM-IIBS selection criteria is entrance-based. The institute accepts students who clear the selection rounds. The selection criteria is as below:
- CAT/ XAT/ MAT/NMAT/ CMAT/ GMAT/ ATMA (50 percentile or above) + GDPI

SSIM-IIBS eligibility is fairly simple. Students have to meet the basic eligibility to get a seat at the institute. The eligibility is as below:
- Graduation degree with 50% aggregate from a recognised university
