The students who want to apply for Tuition Fee Waiver for PGDM at IMI Kolkata have to produce a copy of the Income Tax Returns, PAN number, and Certificate issued by competent authority appointed by appropriate government at the admission office.

The applications for Tuition Fee Waiver under Economically Weaker Section will be invited from the students after they have been admitted into the programme. Any student joining PGDM batch who wants to claim the tuition waiver should apply to admissions office before due date as will be intimated by the institute. The requests received after due date shall not be processed by IMI Kolkata.

International Management of Institute admission based on national and entrance exams. Interested students may apply online on the official website. Entrance exam scores such as CAT, XAT,  CMAT, and GMAT are aslo accepted. The final merit list of selected candidates are released based on their entrance exam scores, past academic performance,  and WAT-PI scores.

The IMI Kolkata XAT Cutoff 2024 was released for admission to the MBA/PGDM course for all categories under the All India quota. The XAT Cutoff 2024 was overall 70 percentile for the General category candidates from the All India quota. This cutoff was for students to avail a seat at the Post Graduate Diploma in Management course. 

International Management Institute, Kolkata accepts the XAT entrance exam for admission to the MBA/PGDM programme. In 2024, the required XAT cutoff percentile was 70 for the students belonging to the General AI quota.
