The college you get will depend on a lot of factors like your category, whether you are general, SC, ST, OBC etc. It will also depend on whether you are from Delhi or outside Delhi. For B.Com (Hons.), the cut off for applicants from Delhi is expected to be 8758 and for those from outside Delhi is expected to be 4260. If you are from Delhi, you can expect to get good colleges from IPU. But if you are from outside Delhi, then you are in the borderline. But even then, you can get good colleges in the 2nd or 3rd round.

In IPU CET for each correct answer, four marks will be given, and for each incorrect answer, one mark will be reduced. There are no marks deducted for unanswered questions. Examination is conducted for 2 hours 30 minutes. Candidates must know the marking scheme before attempting exam.

IPU CET 2026 examination will be conducted for a total of 400 marks. There are 100 questions asked in question paper. Each question carries four marks. There shall be a negative marking of one mark for wrong answer. To prevent losing marks, candidates should ensure they are before answering questions.

There were 40 questions in this section. There were two Reading Comprehension passages with almost 4-5 questions following each passage. There were questions on Fill in the Blanks, Idioms, Error Spotting, Antonyms and Synonyms. The difficulty level of this section was moderate. An attempt of 30-32 questions can be considered a good attempt while a score of 111-115 can be considered a good score. Logical R
