Candidates must pass Class 12 in any stream with at least 45% aggregate (42.8% aggregate for OBC and 40% for SC/ ST) to apply for BA LLB programme at Ishan Institute of Law. Aspirants must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at the time of admission. Besides, the selection for BA LLB programme is merit-based.

Candidates who have passed LLB or BA LLB with a minimum of 55% aggregate from a recognised university are eligible to apply for LLM programme at Ishan Institute of Law. Besides, there is no age limit to apply for this course. Additionally, candidates must also pass the entrance test conducted by CCSU for admission to LLM programme.

To be eligible for the LLM program at Ishan Institute of Law, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  1. A Bachelor's degree in law, either LL.B. or BA.LL.B., with at least 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized university.
  2. There is no age limit for applicants.
  3. Candidates must qualify for the entrance exam conducted by Chaudhary Charan Singh (CCS) University, Meerut.

For pursuing LL.M (Master of Law) a 2 year programme for specialisation in fields like constitutional law, international law, human rights, criminal justice law, etc. in the  College the Law student should have to meet some criterias like:

1. Student should complete 3 year/ 5 year LL.B exams.

2. Student should have scored above 55% in the qualifying LL.B exam.

3. Reserved catagory students should score at least 45% in the qualifying LL.B exam.
