The Institute offers admission to MBA programme in a full-time mode. Admission to ISSM Business School is conducted in two steps. At first, candidates are shortlisted based on a valid score of any one of the entrance exams, including CAT, XAT, TANCET or MAT. Next, the final admission is done after evaluating candidates' performance in Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds. Moreover, the application form are filled in an offline mode.

Offered as a 2 year PG level programme, ISSM Business School offers MBA in full-time mode, ranked by various ranking bodies. The Institute offers admission to the respective course, starting with graduation aggregate of 50%. However, the final admission is offered on the basis of valid scores/ranks of accepted entrance exams such as MAT/ CAT/ CMAT/ GMAT/ XAT/ ATMA and others. Candidates must qualify for the next round of group discussion and personal interview.

The list of documents required during the ISSM Business School application process is mentioned below:
- Attested Photocopies of all marks sheets (starting with standard X up to graduation)
- Photocopies of Proof of Work Experience
- Medical Record Form
- Scholarship Form (if applying for scholarship)
- Six address labels with your correct mailing address (this will be used by ISSM for correspondence)
- Six passport photographs.

Candidates can apply for ISSM Business School admissions by sending the completed applications to the Indian School of Science and Management, Chennai along with a DD of INR 1000/- favouring "Indian School of Science & Management" payable at Chennai, towards application processing charges. Moreover, candidates need to be eligible to apply. The selection process includes an entrance exam, group discussions, and personal interview.
