Basic eligibility for admission in Jadavpur University for B.Sc chemistry is that candidate must have cleared their class 12th examination with mandatory subjects as Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Admission is based on the marks obtained in 10+2. Candidate must have secured minimum 65% marks for General Category, 58.5% of marks for OBC Category, 48% of marks for SC and ST Category and 40% of marks for PWD Category in mandatory subjects. Hello Neha,
You need to clear WBJEE exam to get admission into Jadavpur University.
The eligibility criteria to get admission into Jadavpur University (Faculty of Engineering and Technology) is :
1) Should have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects with at least 60% (45% for reserved category students) aggregate marks.
2) The candidates should also have obtained individual pass marks (both in theory & practical where ever applicable) in each of the subjects and with at least 30 % marks in English.

The JEE score is valid in most of the colg. And is the creteria for the merit list and cutoffs. Do visit the official websites of the institutes for percise and bonafide information is my suggestion.
