Counselling process is more or less like a interview round. After candidates are shortlisted based on their entrance exam scores (CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA, or CUET-PG), shortlisted students are called for counselling from the university. The counselling takes place in the campus. If candidate are selected further, they receive a provisional admission letter which gets confimed after students pay the fee.

The university does not conduct its own entrance exam for MBA admission. Instead, students are selected based on  CAT, MAT, CMAT, XAT, CUET-PG, and ATMA exams. CAT tests students in three main sections: Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension, Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Aptitude. Basically, it tests students in grammar, comprehension and data based reasoning.
