An applicant must have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST students) in order to be eligible for the MBA program. Applicants who are in their last year of a bachelor's programme are also eligible to apply. For MBA admissions, the university administers the Jagannath University Entrance Test (JUET), a proprietary entrance exam. The candidate's JUET results, academic standing, and in-person interview all play a role in the selection process. While not required, work experience may be given priority during the admissions process. The university also complies with the state government's reservation regulations for different classifications.
