JLU Bhopal has received rankings by many ranking bodies, including India Today and Outlook. During 2024, it was ranked #117 by India Today for the 'BBA' category. Other than India Today, Outlook ranked the institute #92 under the same category.

As per the JLU Bhopal NIRF report 2023, a total of 102 UG (three-year) students were placed out of a total of 423 students during the 2022 placement drive. Moreover, earlier, in 2021, 55 students were placed out of a total of 377 students.

JLU Bhopal has released the NIRF report for 2023. As per the report, the median package offered to UG three-year students participating in the 2022 placements stood at INR 3.6 LPA.
