JLU Bhopal has received rankings by many ranking bodies, including India Today and Outlook. During 2024, it was ranked #117 by India Today for the 'BBA' category. Other than India Today, Outlook ranked the institute #92 under the same category.

At first, the admission committee screens all the applications and shortlists students who have obtained good marks in the Class 12 examinations.
