The Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) is held annually for candidates seeking admission to the BArch program at IIT Kharagpur, IIT Varanasi, and IIT Roorkee. A key eligibility requirement for taking the AAT is qualifying the JEE Advanced exam. It’s important to note that admission to undergraduate architecture courses is determined by the candidate's rank in JEE Advanced, not by their AAT score or rank but qualifying AAT is mandatory.

No. The JEE Advanced exam is held in computer based test mode and after the exam, candidates will not be given any hardcopy of the questions as asked in the exam. However, the official question papers are uploaded on the official website, jeeadv.ac.in, a few hours after the exam is over in all shifts. Candidates can access the official website and download and save the JEE Advanced question paper PDF.

JEE Advanced is a challenging exam with a dynamic exam pattern. To cope with the dynamic nature of the exam pattern, it is advisable for the candiates to opt for both types of the JEE Advanced mock tests - full-length as well as sectional. The full length mock tests will help the candidates analyse their speed, time manegement and overall preparation for the exam. Whereas the sectional mocktests will give the candidates a more detailed analysis of their exam preparaion as they can understand their preparation level in each of the subject individually.
