The number of seats available for admission plays a vital role in determining the cut off. In the year 2024, the JEE Advanced cut off went high because of low number of available seats so, the compititions among camdidates increased drastically. As, the number of candidates were very high as compared to the number of seats available.

If you have to pursue B.Arch from IIT, than  you need to qualify JEE MAINS specifically Paper-2 B.Arch/B.Planning there is no need to qualify JEE Advanced for this . Secure a valid score and meet the Joint Admission Board's  eligibility criteria. IITs Participating for B.Arch are  Kharagpur, Roorkee and Varanasi . You have to  Focus on JEE Main Paper-2 syllabus, practice drawing and architecture-related questions, and prepare for the Aptitude Test.

If you fail in JEE Advanced, you can still seek admission to other colleges based on your JEE Main score from the same year. Many engineering colleges, including NITs, IIITs, and private institutions, accept JEE Main scores for admission.

Yes, it is possible to join IIT Patna without JEE Advanced for courses other than BTech. For BTech programme, JEE Main, followed by JEE Advanced, is compulsory for admission. Other than BTech, the institute accepts exams like GATE for M.Tech, followed by COAP counselling. Candidates who are seeking admission to the MTech, BBA, BSc or EMBA need not take JEE Advanced.

Yes you are eligible only for JEE adavance 2025 if you passed in class 12 with minum 75% in 12th board to get iits and nits. You can Also apply for other examination like wbjee, vit, bits if you have no issue with money or you can ive your homestate exam for B.Tech . If you get less marks in 12th board then you need to only focus on JEE main because from this you can also get a very decent college in your homestate

During the process of document verification in JoSAA, if there is any mismatch between the document uploaded earlier by the candidate JEE Main registration site, JEE Advanced registration site and the document uploaded by the candidate on the JoSAA portal, the offer of admission will be withdrawn. The candidates shall be debarred from further rounds of seat allocation. Thus, the candidate will forfeit the eligibility for admissions to any of the institutes through JoSAA. The decision of JoSAA on this issue shall be final and binding.
