Aspirants have to complete JEE application process to become eligible for admission in a IIT Delhi BTech course. The application process for the national-level exam is carried out via online mode. The step-by-step process to apply is explained below:

Step 1: Visit the official website of IIT Delhi. On rhe homepage, click on ‘Admissions’. From the drop-down menu, click on ‘Announcements’.

Step 2: Click on the ‘Apply Now’ button to proceed further.

Step 3: The registration page opens up. Click on ‘New User Register Here'. Register by entering a few basic details such as name, email ID, contact number, course preference, etc. Also, create a password for logins.

Step 4: Fill out the remaining application form by addressing other details, including guardian info, communication address, qualifications, etc.

Step 5: Upload the required documents in PDF format. Also, upload a passport-size photograph and signature and JPG/JPEG format.

Step 6: Pay the application fee using a debit card/credit card/net banking to submit the application.

Yes, getting BTech admission at IIT Delhi is very tough. IIT Delhi is one of the most prestigious engineering universities in India, and it attracts lakhs of applicants each year. The admission process is highly competitive, and only a selected few students are admitted. To be eligible for BTech admission at IIT Delhi, students must have passed the JEE Advanced entrance exam with a high rank. In 2024, the closing rank for BTech admission at IIT Delhi ranged between 116 - 6102. 

In addition to having a high JEE Advanced rank, students must also meet certain academic requirements to be eligible for BTech admission at IIT Delhi. These requirements include:

• Passing the Class 12 examination with a minimum of 75% marks in aggregate (65% for SC/ST/PwD candidates)
• Passing the Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry subjects in the Class 12 examination

Yes, IIT Delhi offers a four-year full-time BTech course at the undergraduate level. IIT Delhi BTech admission is completely entrance-based. IIT Delhi BTech admission is based on JEE Advanced score obtained by JEE Main-qualified candidates. Further, candidates who qualified for Main need to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam, followed by the Counselling rounds as a final selction process for all the IITs.
