IIT Varanasi Cutoff 2024 was concluded for MSc admission. The Institute provides admission to MSc courses on the basis of performance in IIT JAM exam. During the last-round cutoff for MSc admission, the cutoff was released for - MSc in Physics and MSc in Chemistry. For 2025, the IIT Varanasi JEE Advanced cutoff ranged between 1489 and 20792 for BTech admission across multiple specialisations based on the last round cutoff list for the General AI category candidates, wherein BTech in Computer Science & Engineering was the most competitive. Those students who are aiming for top specialisation should strive to attain a rank of 1489 or lower to increase their chances of admission at IIT BHU. Although please keep in mind that the cutoff will vary across different categories and rounds.

The JEE Advanced last-round closing rank to get admission into IIT Varanasi for BTech in Electrical Engineering for the General AI category candidates stood at 3608. For the OBC AI category candidates, the Cutoff rank to get BTech in Electrical Engineering stood at 3404. For admission to BTech in Mechanical Engineering among the General AI category candidates, the last-round closing rank was 6596.
