Great college for study, for the environment, and for campus life.

Placements: At least 80 percent of the students eventually get placed till the end of the placement season, comprising packages varying from 3-4 LPA to 1.5 CPA. Top companies include Microsoft, Google, Samsung, Goldman Sachs, BNY, Coforge, Mahindra, Nvidia, and many more.

Infrastructure: Hostel facilities depend on the hostel you are allotted to. Like there are hostels like Dhanrajgiri, Sathish Dhawan, PC Ray, which are new, thus have new infrastructure and facilities like lifts. But other hostels like Vishveshwaraiya, Vivekanand, and Rajputana have old infrastructure, thus fewer facilities, but they have their own old school vibes.

Faculty: Professors and staff are helpful but at the same time strict and want to maintain the decorum of the college. There are always some flaws in everything, but overall, IITBHU's faculty is good, and this is a good place to get a graduation from. Obviously, it's an IIT.

Our college is good in all aspects.

Placements: Our college is well-known for its placements. In terms of placements, it is among the top 7 IITs. The average salary package offered is 30 LPA. The job profile in placements is diverse. Students are well placed not only in the field of core electrical engineering jobs but also in the field of consulting, quant, SDE, data science, etc. Many students got placed in top companies like Google, Uber, Walmart, Texas Instruments, Ola, Amazon, Hilabs, Indian Oil, etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is average. It should be improved. Labs need to be innovative. The Wi-Fi service is very good. It has good network speed. Classrooms are good. The best thing is the library. The library is first class. Our college has a reading hall and an E-reading hall. It is equipped with thousands of books. The hostel facilities are very good. The hostels are under construction. It has very good medical facilities from the Sunderlal Hospital. A gymnasium is available in our college. They provide sports facilities. Our college provides many places to play sports. The food served in the mess is average.

Faculty: Our teachers are well-qualified and good. They are Ph.D. holders. They have completed their M.Tech. They are knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is good. They provide good information for any industry job. Semester exams are easy. You can easily pass if you study one month before the exam. Almost 140 students out of 150 pass every subject.

Other: As an open campus, anyone can enter, which can be a security concern as animals are seen wandering around. They provide opportunities to interact with students from other streams. The campus hosts three festivals every year. They host KashiYatra, India's largest cultural fest, TechNex, a festival related to science; and Spardha, a fest related to sports. Various scholarships are available for students.

Teachers are quite helpful and qualified.

Placements: The placement at IIT BHU is the best. The rate is almost more than 95 percent. Several companies like Uber, Nutanix, Google, Goldman sachs visit the campus, the avg CTC was 20 LPA while the highest CTC was 1 crore. Top roles are SDE, Data Scientist, Hardware engineer.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is a bit old but once you get acquainted you won't feel much, Wi-Fi facilities and mess, sports, library are excellent. Classrooms are in excellent condition. Quality of food at mess is hygienic and good. Medical facilities are also the best.

Faculty: Teachers are quite helpful and qualified. They have great research and industry experience. Course curriculum is 80 percent relevant to industry but makes students industry ready. Semester exams are not so difficult unless you attend lectures properly.

It gives a very good campus life and placements.

Placements: Our college provides very good placements in all the sectors like core, IT, finance, etc.

Infrastructure: Hostel infrastructure developed a lot recently but the food served is not up to the mark. Our departments have articulate experimental apparatus for students to explore anything with great independence. Our college provides great sports opportunities, huge fields, and many more.

Faculty: Exams are well balanced with social life and education. Professors in our college are greatly helpful, clear students' doubts, and encourage them to study well.

The college provides good facilities, opportunities and placements.

Placements: Placements are very good. More than 700 students witnessed placements last year, and over 400 placements were offered in the first three days of the placement season. Many students have not attended the placements, as they wanted to study masters and go abroad.

Infrastructure: The institute has celebrated its 100 years of establishment in 2019. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Labs are facilitated with the latest technology and devices. They are three huge grounds with basketball, volleyball and lawn tennis courts for sports enthusiasts.

Faculty: Professors are highly qualified and have practised research, along with teaching. Professors possess an abundance of knowledge, and most of it is imparted while teaching. Students can actively participate in discussions with professors on various topics.

Review of IIT Banaras - Indian Institute of Technology, Varanasi (IIT BHU).

Placements: Our college stands in the top 5 among all IITs for placements. This college has a broad alumni base. For the top 4 branches, it has 100% placements. This year, the highest package offered was 1.5 crore for 3 students and 1 crore for 1 student. The average package offered to my course was 24 LPA this year. From many years, many companies that offer higher packages are visiting this college every year.

Infrastructure: As this college is more than 100 years old, its infrastructure is like in an old temple. The buildings are old, but the feeling of living in these old buildings is great. It has become IIT a few years ago, so the infrastructure is being developed. Labs are good. Grounds are good. Overall, the infrastructure is good and is getting better.

Faculty: Faculty members are not good. Some teachers are good, but the maximum of them are bad. Students have to study the course from books and other sources on their own. The course curriculum is not difficult. It can be managed with other activities. Faculty members are bad, but the course curriculum is good.

Other: Fests are very good. Other institutes like medical, commerce and arts are also present on the same campus. The campus is huge. Wi-Fi and LAN connectivity are average. Clubs and council activities conducted are good.

Best college in terms of placement, sports and cultural fest and academics.

Placements: My college placement is good. B.Tech students are allowed to seat in public sector unit company while integrated dual degree students are not allowed to seat in psu placement process. Almost 50% students got placed through software company. Many big analyst company also come here and student got placed in those company.

Infrastructure: In terms of infrastructure my college is good, some buildings are old but stronger than many old building. My college has smart classes facility available. My college has adequate no of labs and workshop in all department. My college classrooms are also good. There should be no doubt in terms of infrastructure.

Faculty: My college has adequate no of faculty members in all departments and schools. Our college faculty member are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Some faculty members have completed Ph.D. degree from foreign reputed university like cambridge and oxford. They are also willing to help the student.

Other: My college provide scholarship to economically backward class of students. My college technical festival name is Technex, sports festival name is Spardha, cultural festival name is Kashi yatra. My college has playground for cricket, Volleyball, basketball and also athletic ground.

Best college in terms of placement, sports and cultural fest.

Placements: My college is very best college if anyone think about placement. The person who want to in public sector unit who definitely got placed. Analyst company also provide attract salary to student. There is some discrimination between integrated dual degree courses and B.Tech courses, public sector company opens only for B.Tech student not for M.Tech or integrated dual degree students.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi network is available in whole campus. Classroom are excellent. There is also a very beautiful library in our campus. For medical facilities, health care complex is also available our campus. Play-ground for cricket, football, hockey, basketball, volleyball is also available.

Faculty: My college faculty members are excellent. There is no doubt about their knowledge, but some faculty members do not use their knowledge to increase the knowledge of student. Classroom presentation of our teacher is also good. Our teachers are also helpful to those student who want to help from them.

Other: Our college has many big and small events. Our cultural event name is Kashiyatra, in which many students from other college of India participate. Spardha is our sports festival which consist of participant of India level.
