Integrated B.Tech. in Biochemical Engineering and Biotechnology + M.Tech. in Biochemical Engineering and Biotechnology

Candidates must satisfy at least one of the following two criteria with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in the year of first appearance in the Class 12th (or equivalent examination): Candidate must have passed class 12th (or equivalent) Board examination with a minimum of five subjects with the mentioned marks in aggregate (The aggregate marks for PwD candidates should be at least 65%). OR Candidate must have passed class 12th (or equivalent) Board examination with a minimum of five subjects and be within the category-wise (category as per the central list) top 20 percentile of successful candidates in their respective Class 12th (or equivalent) board examination. Other mandatory Criteria: Candidate should have appeared for the Class 12th (or equivalent) examination for the first time in either 2024 or 2025 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Candidates who had appeared in Class 12th (or equivalent) examination for the first time in 2023 or earlier, are NOT eligible to appear in JEE (Advanced) 2025, irrespective of the combination or number of subjects attempted/offered. However, if the examination Board of Class 12th (or equivalent) declared the results for the academic year 2022-23 on or after June 28, 2023, then the candidates of that Board who appeared for their Class 12th (or equivalent) examination in 2023 are also eligible to appear in JEE (Advanced) 2025, provided they meet all the other eligibility criteria. Examinations Considered as Equivalent to Class 12th: • The final examination of the 10+2 system, conducted by a Central or State Board recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). • Intermediate or two-year Pre-University examination conducted by a Board or University recognized by the Association of Indian Universities. • Final examination of the two-year course of the Joint Services Wing of the National Defense Academy. • Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Institute of Open Schooling with a minimum of five subjects. • Any Public School, Board or University examination in India or in a foreign country recognized as equivalent to the 10+2 system by the AIU. • H.S.C. vocational examination. • A Diploma recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) or a State Board of Technical Education of at least 3 years duration. • General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London, Cambridge or Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level. • High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva. • Candidates who have completed Class 12th (or equivalent) examination outside India or from a Board not specified above should produce a certificate from the AIU to the effect that the examination they have passed is equivalent to the Class 12th examination. • In case the Class 12th examination is not a public examination, the candidate must have passed at least one public (Board or Pre-University) examination earlier.
