It is a good college if you are going for placement.
Placements: 70-80 percent of students are placed from my course. I think the highest package is 75 LPA. The lowest package is 8 LPA, the average is 20 LPA, and the median is 19.3 LPA. Many companies are open to it, and SDE is the top role offered in my course. I think the placement is good at my college. If you work hard, you will get placed in a decent company.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is okay, the classrooms are old, basically, the whole infrastructure is old. Some buildings are good. First-year hostels are good. The food provided in the mess is good. Sports and games facilities are also good. The infrastructure is kind of old, and we do not have AC in the lecture theatre (now being installed).
Faculty: They are more qualified than I, so I can't judge them. Chemical is chill compared to other branches. Semester exams are good, but sometimes the schedule is hectic. Academic is chill compared to other IITs. The grading system is decent, but try to maintain above 8.5 CPI.

The best college for placements.
Placements: Around 60-70 percent of students are placed in this course. Almost everyone chooses non-core jobs over core jobs due to the very low placement package in core jobs. The highest package is 51 LPA, and the average is around 18 LPA. The companies Indian Oil Corporation, BASF, ONGC, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not very modern. The Wi-Fi is available all over the campus. The classrooms, library, and labs are very calm without any disturbance. The hostels and mess are very neat. The college has a hospital. For sports, we have several grounds and a student activity centre.
Faculty: The teachers are very well educated and helpful. They make us think beyond the syllabus for deep understanding. This course is about process control and instrumentation, chemical relations, etc. This course is so much industry-related. The exams are a bit tough.

Old infrastructure, good placements in 2024, faculty members are top-notch, and a lot of crowd here.
Placements: About 74 to 75% of students got placed in the previous year. The highest was around 1 CPA. The lowest would be 7 LPA. The average lies around 19 to 20 LPA. Reliance is the top recruiter for the core sector. About 30% of students get internships basically in the no- core sector, especially in Microsoft. SDE-related jobs are offered.
Infrastructure: Facilities are quite good. The infrastructure is old but not very bad. We used to think about that before entering the college. Wi-Fi is also working properly but a few labs are not that much efficient that we accept from an IIT. The library is good. Our hostel is new so facilities are good but there is not very much extra space. The food quality is not very good but not very bad. The canteen is okay. Medical facilities are also up to the mark. There are plenty of opportunities related to sports and games.
Faculty: Faculty members are top-notch. There is no doubt about it. They are very knowledgeable. The curriculum is quite old. It is not that much relevant. It doesn't make students industry-ready. Semester exams are not very hard but not easy. Almost 95%+ of students passed.
Other: I chose this course because it is the best combination of branch and college. In our course, we get a lot of time so we learn so many new things to make it in such a way that it blends today's needs such as AI and all that stuff. Events, fests, and the campus crowd are the best here.

Life at the Indian Institute of Technology IIT BHU.
Placements: Placements are very good. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Salesforce, and Oracle visit the campus. Before coming, they conduct tests, and we have to take a test for each and every company. According to our performance, each company shortlists around 5 to 10 students for interviews. There are usually 3 to 4 rounds of interviews, and students are selected accordingly. The average package offered is around 20 LPA, and by the end of the second phase, 95% of students are placed.
Infrastructure: The college is awesome when it comes to the campus. Hostels, classrooms, and library are well-maintained. Wi-Fi is provided free of cost, and the library is open until 12:45 AM. The quality of facilities in the hostel is also nice, and rooms are good. When it comes to boys' hostel, it is not as good as expected. Rooms are not always clean, and students feel that their requests or complaints are not listened to carefully.
Faculty: Exams are on point. Whatever is teach to us is usually asked again. The type of questions depends on professors, some prefer asking questions from what they have taught, while others go beyond the syllabus. When it comes to IT-BHU, examinations are not very tough compared to other IITs. Attendance is also very lenient, it depends on the professor. The curriculum is very nice, and academics are very nice. Professors are also very good.
Other: I chose Chemical Engineering because placements in our department are good, and professors are also highly skilled. When it comes to campus life, it is great, the culture is vibrant, and seniors are very nice. At every phase of our life, seniors guide us very well. There are various clubs and societies that teach different skills like geography, animation, graphic designing, sports, music, dance, etc.

My experience at IIT BHU.
Placements: This year, in chemical engineering B.Tech, many students got placed. The highest package is 75 LPA. The lowest is 10 LPA. The average is around 20 LPA. Invidia, Amazon, Flipkart, Goldman Sachs, and many more companies come here. Almost 30-40 students got internships. Software engineer, consultant, and many more are top roles.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at IIT BHU is old and not that good. Wi-Fi is installed everywhere on the campus in all departments. The hostel is working very well. Labs are also good in my college. Instruments and machines are old. They are not advanced. Classrooms are also not that good at IIT BHU. The food quality in my college is very good. You will get new food items daily. The college provides medical facilities. Sports and games are available in sports. You can play any sport.
Faculty: Teachers at IIT BHU are very cooperative with students and highly knowledgeable. They are giving us high-quality education. I think our course curriculum is relevant so that you can get ready for an industry where you want to go according to you branch you are in.
Other: I chose engineering at IIT BHU because I am passionate about chemical engineering and also curious. This branch is chosen by our rank secured in JEE Advanced. IIT BHU campus is open, so there is a huge crowd on our campus. People often come from outside and visit our college. There is no restriction. Also, there is a Vishwanath Temple on our college campus. You will always get a chance to opt for your scholarship at IIT BHU.

All about IIT BHU and its pros and cons.
Placements: About 90% of people in my course are placed. The highest package offered is 51 LPA, the lowest is 8 LPA, and the average for 2023-24 is 19.6 LPA. Top recruiting companies include big software giants like Microsoft, Google, Goldman Sachs, American Express, etc. However, the number of students offered internships is comparatively less.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at IIT BHU Varanasi isn't that great. We have decent labs with old machinery. Wi-Fi works well at most locations except a few. There are lecture halls, mostly without ACs. The library isn't very luxurious, but it holds a good collection of all the required books. Facilities in hostels are also decent, though not the best. First-year students have triple-sharing rooms, and the rest have double-sharing rooms. The food in the mess is good, but the canteens are a disaster since we don't have branded vendors like Nescafé or Domino's. Medical facilities are decent.
Faculty: Professors are helpful and know their subjects well. The teaching quality is good if you pay close attention. The course curriculum is relevant. The semester exam difficulty varies from moderate to difficult, but it's mostly based on the course and way of study. The pass percentage is high, with only a few students encountering backlogs in a few courses.

I'm satisfied with my college because of college placements and facilities.
Placements: 90% of students got placed. The highest package is 1.6 crPA, and the lowest is 10 LPA. I'm in my second year, I don't know the company's name but my seniors are placed in better companies with at least 20 LPA. According to placement, IIT Varanasi is the best campus compared to other IITs.
Infrastructure: Library, lab equipment, digital classrooms, and hostel are very good with a full Wi-Fi facility. Food is better and hostel provides with common hall. Library is equipped with AC for students and also provides sports room to play indoor games like table tennis, carrom, chess, etc.
Faculty: The teaching quality is good. Faculty members provide good industry-level equipment and detailed studies about it. Semester exams are somewhat difficult for me. Pass percentage is 50% and faculty members give good marks to students.

Overall experience of a fresher at IIT BHU.
Placements: The placements of IIT BHU are very decent if you compare it to other IITs. The placement record has been really good, even in core branches like Mechanical Engineering and Chemical Engineering. Despite having a large number of undergrads, the institute was able to achieve a placement percentage over 90%.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good but not up to the mark. College Wi-Fi works with great speed but might not work at some places. There is an AC study room in the library, and there is an e-library so that you can read any book online. Classrooms are not big enough to accommodate all the students and don't have AC. Mess food is not good and healthy.
Faculty: The course curriculum provides good conceptual knowledge and makes your understanding better. Exams are quite difficult if you want to score good grades. Exams are designed to test your critical thinking along with checking your conceptual knowledge. Professors have really good qualifications but are unable to communicate with the students.
Other: Along with academics, you get a great chance to participate in extracurricular activities. You can participate in various clubs and build new skills. You can participate in Inter-IIT contests.
