College Life at India's Most Beautiful Campus.
Placements: Placements at IIT Guwahati are excellent, especially in the tech field, with high placement rates and strong average packages, generally 30 LPA. Top companies regularly visit the campus. After completing the course, if I do not get placed on campus, which is hardly possible, I'll look for other off-campus placements.
Infrastructure: At the IIT Guwahati campus, life is vibrant with active clubs and major fests like Alcheringa and Techniche. Social life is so strong through hostel interactions, and infrastructure is modern and well - equipped. At IIT Guwahati, nightlife is moderate and mostly campus-based. Students stay active late with hostel hangout and night canteens, gaming, group studies, etc. However, outside options are limited due to the remote location, so it's not like city nightlife in metro cities.
Faculty: The faculty-to-student ratio is 1:12 - 1:15, with overall faculty interaction as decent, with many professors available for any kind of help. The institute has highly qualified faculty, especially in the teaching field. Each semester includes mid-term exams, end-term exams, with quizzes and assignments, and the difficulty range from moderate to high, but can be managed through consistency.
Other: I chose IIT Guwahati because of a strong IIT brand, excellent placements, and comparatively lower fees. Compared to other IIT's, it provided a good campus experience and less academic pressure. Compared to other NIT's, private colleges, IIT Guwahati stands out in every field. If one couldn't make it to the IITs, it's because one is not eligible after the JEE Advanced rank, as competition is very intense. The admission process involves JEE Advanced after qualifying JEE Main, followed by centralized counseling through JoSAA.

Good campus life and infrastructure, no city life, good mess and food counter.
Placements: Very nice placement. A different body is framed every year to organise the placement and accommodation related to all the companies and organisations. Good overall placement and packages. A lot of companies come to recruit for different roles, and the lowest package is above 12 LPA.
Infrastructure: Good sports facility. Average facility for accommodation and training. Nice infrastructure for classrooms. Good libraries. Low-speed Wi-Fi services in the classroom and hostel. All types of sports equipment are available in or out of the hostel. Nice and clean mess service.
Faculty: Nice and helpful teachers and professors. A little off the track curriculum. Good curriculum for the industry. Difficult semester examination. A lot of study material is provided by the institute to help students. A lot of practical knowledge is provided.
Other: A lot of festivals and functions are organised very often.

Life in IIT Guwahati.
Placements: Placements at IIT are always good, but in recent times, a recession has arrived. I think that in 3 years, we will get PPOs and job offers. I don't know much about the companies and don't have official placement data, but the highest package was 2.4 CPA, with 73 percent placed. I want to do a job.
Infrastructure: Hostel life is very amazing. I have my hostel mates who help me very much throughout my studies as well as in fun. Even when I am sick, they took me to the hospital. A bed table is provided to you at the start. The mess at IIT Guwahati is very good; I would rate it 8/10. Registration for the hostel is allotted randomly, and there are 13 hostels at IIT Guwahati.
Faculty: Yes. In the first year, all my professors are from international universities. The faculty-to-student ratio is different in the first year compared to the second year. In the first year, in one class, there are approximately 400 students, one professor, and three TAs. In the second year, there are 90 students, one professor, and one TA. Some faculty members are really good in the way they teach, but others are not, so we have to refer to YouTube. I haven't interacted with any teachers offline, but in my emails, I mostly talk to professors.
Other: I am rating 10/10 for infrastructure in all IITs, no doubt. Campus life is very unique and good, especially in the hostel with hostelmates. The annual fest is Alcheringa, and the technical fest is Techniche, which are held in February and September. I haven't issued any books yet; I mainly learn from books only. Sports facilities are extremely good. Yes, there are many clubs and social groups that help people.

Reviewing only Northeastern IIT (Guwahati).
Placements: Around 90 to 95% of students were placed in my course. The highest CTC and the lowest CTC range from nearly 60 LPA to 12 LPA respectively for the ECE course. Top recruiters include Amazon, Google, Facebook, Uber, IBM, BCG, WorldQuant, Samsung, Texas Instruments, Nvidia, etc.
Infrastructure: IITG is known for its world-class infrastructure. Class lecture halls, labs, and classrooms. 24x7 LAN connection in hostels and library. Recently, there is access to outdoor Wi-Fi across the whole campus. Sports facilities, a gym, music room, and TV room are present in every hostel along with a central facility for each.
Faculty: Professors are, no doubt, well-qualified. Semester exams are really challenging and demand great dedication. Their curriculum is very rigorous, as can be expected from any other IIT. The faculty are highly qualified, knowledgeable, and also easily approachable.
Other: I chose the course as it was the best fit for my CRL of 1597 in JEE 2023. ECE is one of the circuital branches, and being in a primary IIT, it was on my priority list. The annual fest Alcheringa is one of the largest in the whole of Northeast India.

IIT Guwahati campus review.
Placements: Around 98% of people were placed from my course. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Qualcomm, etc. Around 50% got internships from campus and the top roles offered are software development, consulting, and data analyst roles. In the core also, there are so many roles.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good in the departments like lab equipment is good. Classrooms, libraries, and other college buildings are fully equipped with Wi-Fi and classrooms also have projector facilities. About the facilities in my hostel, the food is a bit average but the sports and games are good.
Faculty: I think teachers are knowledgeable, but teaching is not that good. They won't increase interest in the course I think for my course, the curriculum is relevant but for Computer Science, they won't make us industry-ready. The semester exams are a bit difficult.
