Best college in India, great placement, awesome faculty, mesmerizing infrastructure.
Placements: Placements at IIT Delhi are crazy. More than 80% are placed every year with an average package of 20-25 lakhs per annum. Placements are not restricted to core fields only. Companies like McKinsey, Deloitte, and Accenture also take up students irrespective of their branches.
Infrastructure: The hostel facilities of IIT Delhi are top class. Wi-Fi speed in rooms can reach up to 100 Mbps. Proper hygiene of washrooms is maintained. Hostel food consists of a varied variety from Chinese to North Indian. The hostel mess is kept neat and tidy. A dedicated team is appointed for the maintenance of the hostel.
Faculty: Nothing is better than studying at IIT Delhi. Excellent, highly experienced, and immensely dedicated faculty, a properly designed up-to-date curriculum, and fully air-conditioned classrooms with projectors and speakers lift the learning experience to the next level.
Other: The campus life of IIT Delhi feels like you are in heaven. There are no restrictions on what you do, so there are many opportunities for extracurricular activities, and Olympic-level infrastructure for sports makes this place the dream of every student. Mostly every month, there are one or two events going on. One special thing about IIT Delhi is its location; unlike any other IIT, IIT Delhi is situated in one of the top localities of Delhi (Hauz Khas), which makes connectivity to other parts of Delhi very easy. Similarly, no other IIT can beat IIT Delhi in its nightlife. Within walking distance, one can find clubs, cafes, and party places, which no other IIT can provide.

The best dream college - IIT Delhi.
Placements: IITD is known for its placements. Last year, more than 80% of the students who appeared for job interviews got placed in all sorts of companies, including tech, consultancy, and core sectors. The highest package was in crores, offered by Jane Street, while the average package was approximately 17-18 lakhs.
Infrastructure: The facilities are the best. The rooms are good and spacious. The mess food is famous for its variety and taste. Classes are fully centralised air-conditioned. Wi-Fi speed is around 130 Mbps per student. The Central Library at IIT Delhi is one of the biggest and most prestigious libraries among all IITs.
Faculty: The teachers and professors are highly qualified and helpful. Most of the professors graduated from many reputed universities worldwide, such as Stanford University and Cambridge University. They have excellent experience in teaching, around 15-20 years, and are also engaged in research work for many organizations.
Other: IIT life is best known for the events and fests that take place throughout college life. October is mainly the time for the cultural fest Rendezvous, which is Asia's biggest cultural fest. The tech fest Tryst is also very famous, taking place around March. All the students from all years come together and participate in various events, creating nice memories.

There is plenty of time to explore other areas, if you are still confused about your career.
Placements: On a general note, the placements are pretty good; every student who has worked even a little bit on skills and maintained an average CGPA has been able to get a job. In my course, the skill aspect helped more students get an internship or placement. For the core companies, there were Vedanta, JSW and also Chakr Innovation in internships. Apart from that, Adobe, BCG, and McKinsey also selected some students.
Infrastructure: Our department is a new one; hence, it doesn't have its own infrastructure as of now, but from next year onwards, our department will be shifting to a new building that is very well built and has some of the best lab equipment in India. Hostels are decent, but they are quite old too so people do have to deal with the infrastructural issues. The newer hostels have much better facilities.
Faculty: The course is very manageable as the content is not very difficult and quite relevant to the field. If studied regularly throughout the semester, it's really easy to score well. Professors are also skilled and almost all of them have completed their PhDs from very prestigious universities. They are always ready to help us if we of any doubts. So the teaching quality is good. The difficulty of semester exams depends on professors. About 90–95% of students pass the courses on average.

Great life at IIT Delhi with lot of opportunities.
Placements: Materials Enginneringis a new branch which has a lot to offer. Placement-wise, opportunities are offered in Tata Steel, IBM, Musigma, etc. It's a research-oriented branch having opportunities of doing MS in Ivy League schools and in India in DRDO, ISRO etc. The average package is not yet estimated as no batch has passed out yet.
Infrastructure: Amazing labs and opportunities are available here. Wi-Fi is available everywhere in college. Classrooms are well furnished and fully AC. Library has wide range of books and is fully AC. Hostel good is really good. Breakfast is great with lot of options.
Faculty: The faculty is well qualified. Teaching quality is not that satisfactory but professors are highly knowledgeable and you can learn a lot from them in class as well as out of class. You can reach out to them for projects. The curriculum is well designed. In the first year, all students do the same courses irrespective of their branch which is helpful in studying core courses further. Semester exams are not that tough and the pass percentage is generally 30.

One of the best institutes, awesome campus culture, a good environment, and a strong alumni network.
Placements: The average package offered was 15.5 LPA. Recruiting companies are Flipkart, GAIL, Hindustan Unilever, JP Morgan Chase, Barclays Bank, Cap Gemini, Deloitte, and ICICI securities. Students pursue an internship in the second year or third year. Some do in the first year also depending on their interest.
Infrastructure: The hostel's infrastructure is good. In hostels, there are separate rooms for music, dance, gym, and reading room for study. Also have a common room, TV room, mess, gardens, badminton court, cricket nets. The quality of food is well maintained. Also, there are night canteens that run late at night till 3-4 am.
Faculty: The curriculum of the course is good. During the week, we have classes for 5 days. Also, get much free time after classes for other activities. We have four exams in a semester. Quiz 1, Minor, Quiz 2, Major are conducted. Semester exams are of good level. Some courses are difficult to pass.

Satisfied with IITD and its freedom.
Placements: The placement ratio is nice. Placement opportunities are there in tech, core, consultant, finance, etc. Because of the large number of opportunities, around 85% to 90% of students get placed. In 2021, the highest package is around 2 CPA, the lowest is around 9 LPA-10 LPA, and the average package is around 18 LPA-20 LPA. Around every company come to IITD.
Infrastructure: Top-class infrastructure. Wi-Fi is available at every place. Air-conditioned rooms for the reading section and visitors section in the hostel. Nice food provided by BHM - Board of hostel management mess. The cleaning services maintain very good hygiene on the whole campus.
Faculty: Professors are well qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful but the teaching way could be a bit better. The courses are designed with proper consideration of relevance. Things taught in courses are related to an industrial point of view. Exams are easy, just proper knowledge from notes is required.
Other: Freedom is the thing given at IITD with no restriction of hostel entry and exit timings.

IIT Delhi is one best of College and it is also known for its startup culture.
Placements: Average packages was around 15.5 Lacs Recruiting companies we're Accenture, Barclays Bank, Cap Gemini, Deloitite, Flipkart, GAIL, Hindustan Unilever, ICICI securities, JP Morgan Chase. Internships depends totally on student's interest. Many pursue internships in foreign during second year. And Indian Startups in third year .
Infrastructure: Infrastructure and Facilities provided by College are very good. Each student have per day Wi-Fi limit of 10GB and in computer Science lab it is unlimited. Labs and classrooms are large and well maintained. Also Each student has provided a senior mentor which help him in any kind of problem during first year. Hostel food quality is really awesome.
Faculty: Faculty at IITD are all highly qualified knowledgeable. Course Curriculum is good and in first year all department students have to do same courses. They also provide a chance to make department change in first year. Semester exam are not easy. They are tough (easier than JEE) .

IIT is worth its reputation.
Placements: Our course was introduced about a year ago, so there are no placements yet. Our course offers a huge variety of scopes in research, ceramic industry, paint and petroleum industry, textile and many more.
Infrastructure: There is high-speed Wi-Fi, necessary labs, huge classrooms with an accommodation capacity of more than 100 students, halls with an accommodation capacity of more than 2,000 students and many libraries. I have heard that our hostel is one of the oldest, and yet it is one of the most well maintained. There is a TT court, basketball court, gym, etc. The food served in the mess is average.
Faculty: Teachers here may be qualified and knowledgeable, but they don't help much. When we ask a cross-question, some lecturers tell us to find the answer on our own. The teaching quality is fine. The course curriculum is relevant but completed quickly by devaluing the time invested in the course. The course curriculum seems industry efficient, but we have not yet grasped the actual crux of its use. Exams are much easier, but the time is not adequately given for self-study. The pass percentage is very low.
Other: I chose this course because it seemed like a good option out of the limited options available to choose from due to my low rank. Yet the course seems cruise and may provide a variety of future opportunities. I am very new to the course to determine the improvement criterion. Many interesting events are held every year like More, Shabdvyu, Rendezvous, etc. Every extracurricular activity is conducted here. Many scholarships are provided here.
