Amazing college with the best placement and a very good atmosphere to study in.
Placements: About 56 percent of our seniors get placed in good company. The highest package was INR 1.5 crore, and the lowest was INR 15 lacs, with an average of INR 20 lacs. The top recruiter is Microsoft. 100 percent of students got internships in our course. Manager is the role that is offered by many companies. Our students get major roles in the respective companies.
Infrastructure: Our college hostel is Aryabhata, which was allotted for 1st year students and is very old. The infrastructure is also very old, but it has a good Wi-Fi connection and proper water facilities. The labs are fully air-conditioned, the canteen has all types of food that you want to eat, whether it is lunch, breakfast, or dinner, and our college has proper medical facilities and good sports facilities.
Faculty: All the teachers are well educated and have a great knowledge of their subject, and all teachers have done their Masters in their respective fields. The teachers that are provided by our institute are also IITians. Our curriculum is very vast but interactive, and our teachers are very passionate, which makes the subject easy. Semester exams are quite tough; pass percentages depend upon the average of the scores that students get.
Other: I chose this course because my advance score is a little low. The best thing about our course is that it has very easy subjects so that the student can learn additional subjects like programming, C+, etc. I hope that our teachers will improve the learning methods at our college. Our college is known for fests and events, and scholarships are provided to brilliant students. Extracurricular activities like cricket, basketball, and tennis are done by the students.

About the Institute and its placements.
Placements: The placement prospects in the branch are not so good but there are many opportunities in research sector. People do coding and get placed with good packages. Also the culture is really good for a good company of students. The placement packages are within the range of 12-40 Lacs.
Infrastructure: The facilities provided by the institute are at par with the capital put in. Therefore, the infrastructure though old provides great serene views. All facilities are available in the market and the sports facilities are really also very good. Its very nice.
Faculty: The professors working here are well qualified and they are selected through well scrutinized selection process. Their recruitment is done very carefully. The course curriculum is not burdensome but one needs to be regular with their study to score good.

Satisfied with Ceramics at IIT BHU.
Placements: Over 98% of students who have applied for placement have either received placement or had received pre-placement offers. The highest placement offered was over 20 LPA, the lowest being around 11 LPA. Goldman Sachs was one of the most paying recruiters. Top roles included HR, product manager etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is awesome. We usually get the speed of 100 Mbps. Classrooms are well furnished with a central cooling Air conditioner. The library is mindblowing but it's found crowded usually during exam times. Mess and Canteen are okayish types. Hostel rooms are very small. Labs have all kinds of equipment and are loaded with world-class technology. Medical facilities are great and we have a full-time campus doctor, some staff and an ambulance ready 24x7.
Faculty: Professors here are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. They are always ready to help. They teach very well especially offline. Of course, they cant teach as good as the coaching teachers. But considering their experience, they are above the decent mark. Course Curriculum is not 100% relevant but most things are covered in seminars and guest speakers. Some sub. Like ed is very tough at times.
Other: This is the easiest course at IIT. I got it by luck but I am very happy now. I wish the course would include life skills like cooking instead of boring history classes. Fest and campus are so huge that no one could ever imagine.

My college IIT Varanasi?
Placements: It's excellent in placement prospective. 90 percent of appear got placed. Mainly students prepare for software development profile and analytics but core is also a good part. Many Big company approach's students directly. It has its own placement cell group which contact with companies to visit in our placement sessions.
Infrastructure: 24 hours Wi-Fi, 16 hours library and 24 hours digitally. Labs are with fine tools. Mess is also excellent. Campus has 3 huge play ground with fully equipped kits and trainers with specialize. Sir Sunder lal hospital is provided for medical issues.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified with a lots of experience with assistance and fully helpful. Course curriculum is totally relative and semester exam are quite tough so prepare well. On the scale 10 it's 8. Relative labs are available for practical knowledge as well.
Other: Not even my course but all the course all excellent. College conduct many events like spardha, technex, kashiyatra, etc. Students have many opportunities to explore in different area chance to participate in inter and intra activities and improve your self. ?

Overall completely satisfied, very good placement count even in covid situation.
Placements: 90% of the students are placed from my course. 5% are sitting in the placement phase 2. And remaining students did not take part in the placement process. The highest is around 24 lakh, average is 12 lacs, the lowest is still not clear because placement phase 2 is remaining. Top recruiting companies are flipkart, Mock, DB, Axtria, tiger analytics, American express, Myntra, iqvia and many more. On campus internship count is less for our branch which is around 10% but placement count is very good. Top roles offered are software engineer, data analyst, business analyst, product analyst, data scientist, associate consultant and many more.
Infrastructure: It is a old college and therefore is having old buildings, but for girls they have built new hostel previous year, so it is very good. Wi-Fi is available 24*7. Library is open till 10 at night. Classrooms are big and again they are old as well. Overall canteen and all other hostel facilities are great including mess as well. But our hostel is not having sports facilities. Some boys hostel has badminton ground in their hostels.
Faculty: Teachers here are of both kind, good as well as bad, and so is the teaching quality. Course curriculum is 95% relevant and other 5% include human values courses and so. Course curriculum make students ready for industry. But it also depends on students interest.
Other: I chose this course because I was only eligible for this one according to the rank in JEE. It is a new course which is not available in all IITs except Kanpur, I guess. I would like to improve teachers teaching here and discipline as well. We have a departmental event named as keramos but I never saw it.

Great placements, genius faculty, and a place to create great memories!
Placements: Of all the students who sat for the placement session, almost everyone got placed with decent jobs. Some of the students got placed in big companies like Goldman Sachs, Oyo, Flipkart, Axxela Advisory, Sprinklr, etc. Many other big companies like Uber open for the branch. There were many companies for core profile as well. The minimum package was 6 Lacs and the maximum was around 35 lacs (CTC). The average package was in the range of 9-10 lacs.
Infrastructure: The department of ceramic engineering is one of the oldest departments of IIT BHU. It has 5 classrooms, a library, a meeting room with projector, fully equipped labs for every professor, a computer room. The department has been provided with Wi-Fi connections just like every other department and hostel at IIT BHU. Some of the hostels at IIT BHU have washing machines. Students living in the rest of them can appoint a dhobi who collects their clothes every alternate day and cleans them at a very reasonable rate. Every hostel has 2-3 mess. The food is average. But some mess have above average food as well. There are 2-3 canteens in every hostel where one can get maggi, dosa, idli, sandwich, tea, milk, paratha, etc. The mess are closed on Saturday evening so you have to eat somewhere else (In canteen or at the restaurants outside the campus which are not that far).
Faculty: The teachers in our department are highly qualified and are able to clear all the doubts you might have. You not only get to learn things but they are also demonstrated to you in the labs where you are given the chance to use the equipment. To get to know more about the core field, each student is allotted an exploratory project under certain professors. Students have to do B.Tech and M.Tech projects during their pre-final year. Overall the course curriculum is very relevant.
Other: There are 3 major fests at IIT BHU. Kashiyatra is the cultural fest, Technex is the technical fest as the name suggests and Spardha is the sports fest of IIT BHU. These fests are huge. If you work in the student body carrying out these fests, there is a chance that you will get to meet celebrities that come to perform there. IIT BHU campus is huge and extremely beautiful. Seeing a peacock in the campus very common. One thing that I really want to point out here is IIT BHU is the place where strangers become friends and friends become family. Banaras is the city of love and affection. You will leave Banaras one day but Banaras will never leave your heart.

IIT BHU is worth it. Recently, the college has completed its 100 years of establishment.
Placements: Placements are really good but most of the cases in non-core or IT sector. Core placement is still okay companies like Tata Steel, SAIL, BHEL come to recruit engineers. In core sector there is huge opportunity in research sector and also a lot of money in R&D sector.
Infrastructure: The campus is spread over 1,300 acres. It is huge and lush green. The campus has a hospital named Sir Sundarlal hospital. BHU is called as capital of education because it has 6 institutes,14 faculty members and 60 departments and IIT is one of them. There is a temple of Lord Shiva called Shree Vishwanath temple. The entire campus is enabled with high-speed Wi-Fi. There are a huge playground, gymkhana and a library.
Faculty: Professors are very helpful and friendly. The course curriculum is also well defined. Students can contact personally any professor regarding doubts or any idea or anything, even personal matters. Many companies visit our college to provide industrial exposure to meritorious students.
Other: There are a lot of clubs in which anyone can explore themselves. Many fests are also organised here, and some of them are Kashiyatra (North India's biggest cultural fest) and Technex (technical and management fest).

The college has good placements, but not that good infrastructure.
Placements: The placements are good. The highest package offered was 26 LPA, the lowest being 6 LPA, and the average salary was around 10 LPA. The major companies included Flipkart, Amazon, Citi Bank, ola, and Tata Steel come to the campus. The placement was provided in the core as well as non-core such as management and coding.
Infrastructure: The campus is old but large enough. The Wi-Fi is well-established in the house in this year. The labs are well-conditioned. The building is quite old, but I have to go to the store nearby Hyderabad gate for buying my stuff. All kind of sports and entertainment facilities are also vailable.
Faculty: The faculty members are very talented. They have done their higher education from abroad and very good at research, but their communication skills are somewhat poor but okay. There would be 1 teacher per 10 students, so the ratio is well-balanced. The projectors are used, and project and assignments are provided to the students on a regular basis. We get interns at the industries. The course curriculum was very nice.
Other: A lot of events are held such as Kashiyatra, Technex, and Spardha.
