B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering - Batch of 2029
4.2
Absolutely satisfied with my college IIT BHU because of facilities and good placement in 2026.
Placements: In the electronics branch, the placement percentage is approximately 81 percent. The highest package is 90 LPA, the lowest is 7.5 LPA, and the average is 23.5 LPA. Top companies are Google, Microsoft, and Nvidia. 40 percent of students got internships in core jobs, where the major company was Nvidia, and a few also got internships in SDE. Roles include VLSI, embedded systems, and PCB.
Infrastructure: The facilities are very good at IIT BHU. Wi-Fi covers the entire campus, and classrooms are fully modernized. There are 4 lecture theatres in our college. For freshers, IIT BHU has the best hostel among all IITs, named PC Ray Hostel, which covers all required infrastructure and is newly made, so it looks aesthetic as well. There are 3 huge grounds in IIT BHU, which cover facilities for all sports. We have SAC for indoor games and a newly made gym, which is the biggest sports auditorium as well.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good, though not as awesome as JEE teachers. The course curriculum is relevant too. Semester exams are decent, and the difficulty level is good. I chose Electronics Engineering because it is the backbone of modern technology, from AI hardware to communication systems. At IIT BHU, the best thing is the 'Open Lab' culture and the technical societies. I’ve already started diving into circuit design, where I’ve learned that relying on nodal analysis is often more reliable than mesh rules when dealing with the complex, multi-source branches common in advanced electronics.
Other: Living in Varanasi offers a unique blend of heritage and high-tech education. The campus is vast and green. I’m particularly excited about joining the Club of Electronics (the technical club under the SNTC), which provides a great platform for freshers to work on robotics and embedded systems projects.

Very good college ancient college in India.
Placements: In the placement of the current batch, there are 87 companies that offered internships to students. Major companies like Microsoft, Apple, Nvidia, Goldman Sachs, Rubric, VISA, ThoughtSpot, Axxela, American Express etc. The highest package of our college is 2.20 Crore at present year and the average package of the college is 22 LPA. There are 1128 students placed in the present year. The percentage of students getting placements is about 80 percent.
Infrastructure: There is a wide range of books available in our college. The variety of books is very nice. There we get books of spirituality, competitive exams, novels, biographies, self development and many more. The classrooms of our college are decent. The facilities is vey nice. The sports facilities in our college are excellent. There are 23 sports that are introduced in our college. In our college there are multiple clubs for the interests of every individual in our college. Our hostel is the newly built in our college. In our hostel there are 10 floors.
Faculty: The faculty to student ratio is 1/22. The faculty to student relationship is good. We approach faculty by doing mail on their mail inbox to ask any doubt or we can ask doubts after the class. All the faculty members are good. I like all of them. All faculty members are best in their respective subjects. There are two exams in our college, one is mid semester and another is end semester exam in one semester. The difficulty of exams is hard. Almost all students pass the exam but a few of them fail in exams.

Best engineering college in Uttar Pradesh.
Placements: Almost 90 percent of students got placed. The highest package offered is approximately 90 LPA. The average package is approximately 34 LPA. Most of them get placed in core companies, and some of them choose tech companies. The top recruiters are Samsung and Qualcomm. Nivea takes fewer students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my department is good. The past is the nearest department. Hostels have CCTV cameras, a water cooler, vending machines, and a canteen. The quality of the food is good. We have a study room in the hostel. There is a common room on each floor in which we play table tennis.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified. Most of them did their Ph.D from IITs or other reputed colleges in other countries. The first year curriculum is a slight mixture of all subjects and makes students industry ready in other ways. Semester exams are not difficult. The batch size is approximately 150, of which 15 are branch changes.

It is the best college with good campus life and placements.
Placements: I am from the Electronics department, and the highest package is around 1.2 CPA, while the average package offered is 27 LPA. Many top companies visit here for recruitment and check every skill that is useful for their company development. There is a placement cell here.
Infrastructure: Our college has good sports facilities and big grounds for every game. There are many games like badminton, basketball, cricket, boxing, and many others. There is a sports fest, namely Spardha. Every year, many colleges come and compete, making the campus joyful. Good labs are there for students’ experiments and deep learning.
Faculty: The exams here are tough. 75 percent attendance is compulsory and very good for lectures. This course makes the student well-prepared for the core programme and has very good labs for students’ experiments and deep learning.
Other: Good college with the best sports facilities and greenery.

Absolutely satisfied with the college and facilities but not with the infrastructure.
Placements: Almost 90% of students get placed. The highest package was approximately 90 LPA. The average package was approximately 34 LPA. It had a good placement in the year 2023-24 and good academic facilities.
Placements: I am from the electronics branch. It's a circuital branch, so its placement rate is 90% for our batch. Approximately 135 out of 150 students are placed. The highest salary package is approximately 90 LPA, the average salary package is 32 LPA, and the lowest salary package is 16 LPA. From my course, 40%-50% of students get internships. Top roles include ML engineering, SDE, data science, and electronics core.
Infrastructure: All basic facilities are available, such as Wi-Fi, well-equipped labs, furnished classrooms, and 24/7 library access. In the hostel, there are some issues, like irregularly hygienic food in the mess and some problems with drinking water. However, with complaints, these issues are noticed and addressed properly.
Faculty: All teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching methods are a little old, but they are understandable. From the third semester, the course curriculum is relevant. The regular class routine makes students industry-ready. Semester exams become more difficult as you progress to higher semesters. The pass percentage is approximately 40% of the total marks.
Other: I have a lot of interest in electronics and communication technology, so I chose this course. It provides the basic structure of how the modern world will be shaped into a vast world through these modern technologies. There are three fests held in the college every year, one is sports, the second is technical, and the other is cultural.

IIT - (BHU) Varanasi.
Placements: 81.3% of students were placed. The highest salary offered was 90 LPA, the lowest salary offered was 6.5 LPA and the average salary was 27.41 LPA. There were companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, etc. that came for placements. Most of the non-core companies offered internships for worthy students in the course. There are many startups that are run by the students.
Infrastructure: As one of the oldest campuses in India, the infrastructure is quite old and does not meet the expectations of the students. The hostel facilities are average, and the food is below average. However, the canteen facilities are available, and there is a medical center that provides medical care for students for free.
Faculty: The curriculum is the same as in other IITs. Most of the staff are highly educated and ranked among the top professors in the country. The semester exams mainly focus on non-core subjects in the first year and increase their focus on core subjects in later years.

Review of Indian Institute of Technology, BHU, Varanasi.
Placements: Most of the students who sit for placements get placed by the end of graduation. Top companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Flipkart, Nvidia, etc. Also, some HFTs come to recruit students from circuital branches (some of which also remain open for other branches). A significant percent of students also bag internships at these top companies. Top roles offered are Software Development Engineer, Hardware Engineer, and other related roles, Data Analyst, Data Scientist, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure in departments is mediocre, though it is being renovated currently. Wi-Fi is available in the department. Labs are equipped with apparatus required, though some of them are old. The classrooms are mostly comfortable. The library is stocked with textbooks and also some other miscellaneous books. Hostel facilities and infrastructure are average. Food in the mess also has average quality and taste, which is manageable. Medical facilities are available. Some hostels also have a Badminton lawn.
Faculty: Also, the professors are qualified and knowledgeable. They try to impart useful knowledge to students to make them industry-ready. The course curriculum is relevant if you want to pursue job roles in your core course. Semester exams are not very difficult. The overall curriculum, including quizzes, surprise tests, attendance, labs, etc., is considerably lenient in comparison to other colleges.
Other: The college has grounds to play sports, a Student Activity Center for indoor games and gym, several student-formed clubs like coding, dance, music, art, masquerades, social service, etc., that instigate interest in extracurricular activities among students. The annual cultural fest Kashiyatra and technical fest Technex are conducted with grandeur. The campus is filled with natural elements.
