JEE Main Application Form

JEE Main 2024 Eligibility Criteria encompass various conditions for aspiring candidates. First and foremost, there is no age limit for individuals wishing to take the exam. In terms of educational qualifications, candidates must have either completed their class 12 in 2022 or 2023 or be currently enrolled and appearing in 2024 from a recognised board. Those who have passed an examination equivalent to class 12 are also eligible to apply. Candidates are permitted to appear in the exam for three consecutive years starting from the year they pass class 12. The compulsory subjects for the qualifying exam differ based on the desired course: for BTech, it includes Physics, Mathematics, and any one subject among Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, or Technical Vocational Subject; for BArch, it includes Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics; and for BPlan, it requires Mathematics. Notably, there is no minimum percentage requirement for appearing in the exam. However, candidates need to secure 75% marks after qualifying JEE Mains for admission to NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs.

JEE Mains correction window 2026 will open after the last date of filling the application form. The facility to make correction will be available online on the JEE Main official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. During the correction window, candidates are allowed to change/modify details filled in their application form. Candidates must note that not all fields in the application form will be open for correction. Only certain information like category, address of correspodance/permanent address, exam city preference, paper choice, photo, signature etc. can be modified. Candidates might also be required to pay additional fees for making corrections in certain fields.
