No, JEE Main application form can only be filled online. The application form of JEE Main is released only in online mode on the website jeemain.nta.ac.in. There is no option of filling the application form in offline mode. Candidates who do not have a laptop/personal computer can visit the computer centre/common service centres to fill the application form. While filling the JEE Main 2026 application form, candidates will also have to upload scanned image of their photo and signature. Candidates belonging to reserved category (Gen-EWS/SC/ST/OBC-NCL) also need to upload the category certificate.

Yes, Candidates who wish to appear in both the sessions of JEE Main 2026 need to fill application form separately for all sessions. However, the JEE Main registration need to be done only once. Candidates who apply for the first session of JEE Mains 2026 can use their session 1 application number and password to login and apply for the second session. During the second session of application filling, candidates only need to enter details of paper for which appearing, exam centre preference and pay the application fees. The JEE Main 2024 session 2 registration window is already closed. The application period typically starts around February and closes in early April. JEE Main 2024 Session 2 Registration Window was approximately between February - Early April.

NTA has not announced the JEE Main 2024 form fill up date. However, it is expected that the application forms will be released in December. The tentative JEE Main 2024 application form date session 1 is December first week. JEE Main application form 2024 will be available online on the website jeemain.nta.nic.in 2024. Interested candidates will be able to apply from the official website. JEE Main 2024 registration last date will be last week of December or January first week. As the exam will be conducted in two sessions, NTA will release separate application forms for both the sessions.

The fee for making corrections in the JEE Main Application form 2024 depends on the type of correction you want to make:

There's no fee for corrections that don't involve changing specific details.

However, there is a fee for certain modifications like:

  • Changing your category (from SC/ST/Girls/PwD to General/OBC-NCL)
  • Opting for additional papers (if you want to take more than one paper)

Yes, Candidates who did not apply during the first session must reapply by filling out the application and completing the NTA JEE Mains 2024 Registration.

In order to appear in the JEE Main 2024 Session 2 test, candidates who applied for Session 1 had to log in using the application number and password they had previously used for Session 1. Candidates have to fill the following details and submit certificates in JEE main application form : 

•scanned passport size photograph

• category certificate

•ID proof

•signature

•class 12 mark sheet

•signature

• category certificate (SC/ST/OBC)

• debit/internet banking/UPI receipt for payment of application fees

• date of birth certificate

• domicile certificate

Candidates receive an SMS followed by the confirmation email after their successful registration for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE). In case, any detail is missed, the application window will show the missed step and cadidates are required to complete the form.

The Joint Entrance Examination allows its candidates to correct the mistakes once through the correction window . If you have filled the wrong category by mistake, you can change it and pay the remaining fees as charges are different for each category.

There is no restriction on the type of photo for the JEE MAIN Entrance Examination, as long as it is clear and meets the following criteria: 

Photograph format - JPEG/JPG .

Dimention - 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm.

Size of the photograph - 10kb to 200kb. 

Regular glasses are allowed for candidates with spectacles however no sunglassed are allowed in the photograph.
