If you mistakenly mentioned the wrong 12th passing year in the application form of JEE Main and the correction window is already closed, chances are that your form is not rejected, but it is always safer to check with the NTA directly. Minor errors that are not affecting your eligibility chances are rarely going to lead to the rejection of your forms.

No, candidates need not pay any fees for making corrections in JEE Main application form. However, if any candidate changes his/her category from SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PWD to underserved category, they need to pay the difference in application fees. For making any other changes, candidates don't have to pay any fees. JEE Main correction window will be active in December after the application process is closed.

Candidates can face difficulty in payment of application fees due to various reasons like
- Slower internet connection while paying fees
- Slow bank server
- Insufficient balance in bank
In case any candiate faces issues while trying to pay JEE Main application fees, they should try paying the fees after some time. Candidates can also try logging out the application form process once and then try paying application fee again after logging in. No, JEE Main application form can only be filled online. The application form of JEE Main is released only in online mode on the website jeemain.nta.ac.in. There is no option of filling the application form in offline mode. Candidates who do not have a laptop/personal computer can visit the computer centre/common service centres to fill the application form. While filling the JEE Main 2026 application form, candidates will also have to upload scanned image of their photo and signature. Candidates belonging to reserved category (Gen-EWS/SC/ST/OBC-NCL) also need to upload the category certificate.

The JEE Main 2024 session 2 registration window is already closed. The application period typically starts around February and closes in early April. JEE Main 2024 Session 2 Registration Window was approximately between February - Early April.

NTA has not announced the JEE Main 2024 form fill up date. However, it is expected that the application forms will be released in December. The tentative JEE Main 2024 application form date session 1 is December first week. JEE Main application form 2024 will be available online on the website jeemain.nta.nic.in 2024. Interested candidates will be able to apply from the official website. JEE Main 2024 registration last date will be last week of December or January first week. As the exam will be conducted in two sessions, NTA will release separate application forms for both the sessions.

Yes, Candidates who did not apply during the first session must reapply by filling out the application and completing the NTA JEE Mains 2024 Registration.

There is no restriction on the type of photo for the JEE MAIN Entrance Examination, as long as it is clear and meets the following criteria:
Photograph format - JPEG/JPG .
Dimention - 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm.
Size of the photograph - 10kb to 200kb.
Regular glasses are allowed for candidates with spectacles however no sunglassed are allowed in the photograph.
