With the kind of score you have achieved I am afraid you will not be able to get admission into any institute of repute. You still have one more attempt in April 2020 to improve upon your score. Work hard and try to do better in JEE Mains to improve your chances to seek admission into a good institute.

Yes, you can get an NIT with this percentile. You can get admission in your own state so don't worry. Just keep a follow up during counseling process which starts in June.

If we look at the last year's trend then around 90 percentile score is required to qualify for JEE Advance. However, this will depend a lot on the performance of the students in the JEE Mains exam. The second JEE Main attempt will be in April 2020 post it the final list of qualifying marks will be published. This is for the general /open category. However there are separate cutoff for reserved/ girls category which is much lower to the general/open category.
